EDF Reviews

While some members who chose EDF to be their energy supplier have reported issues with their cashback, many members have left positive EDF Energy reviews, with some saying theirs was paid out faster than expected. Comments include “good cashback rate for switch over — two to three months to pay out” and “brilliant. Saved on dual fuel and cashback showed within five hours”.

Our members seem to love the company too. One said: “EDF have been very efficient and helpful in setting up my account and dealing with any queries or problems I have had.” Others praised the fact their site is easy to use and the switching process not confusing at all. EDF Energy review feedback includes “a very good service and an easy changeover” and “smooth transition from my previous supplier — kept me informed at every stage”.

Applied with EDF at the end of July 09, tracked within a day transfer to them excellent. Topcashback said the £40 was payable by end of August 09. Now middle of October and no sign of the £40 due at the end of August! Good service from EDF, not so sure about Topcashback.

As you would expect, it is mainly the people who have had problems who are likely to post here. However in my case the £60 cashback tracked the next day and is now confirmed and looking to be paid Nov 09.

Extremely slow in sorting out cashback.Customer services for them are a bit sloppy, you have to remind them of things, and they don,t explain things very well.

1st time i've used topcashback and very disappointed. deal was £60 cashback for dual fuel but failed to track despite receiving all the relevant paperwork and edf account up and running. submitted enquiry and 2 nudges but no response. Edit - Top CashBack - Please note, claims for EDF Energy will remain pending for at least 28 days as this is the lag time between a customer taking out a policy and it being confirmed.

Clicked to EDF via this site on 11/09/09. Got an email from EDF confirming my instructions straightaway but alas, still waiting for my cash to track. Submitted a manual claim on 20/09/09 and a nudge on 27/09/09 but enquiry still says 'Waiting for TopCashBack'. Come on TopCashBack!

Cashback was very quick to track. Account was set up with edf very promptly. Had 1 query so called them and was answered within 1 ring. Very impressed so far and they were also the cheapest with their online tariff. Would recommend to others

Mine has not tracked yet however my daughter's has so it does appear that they are inconsistent. I have made a manual claim. So just hope when you apply that you are one of the lucky ones. Hope top cash back sort it out soon.

At present the change over has not gone through yet, I have provided the final Electricity reading but I am waiting for the letter regarding the final Gas reading. I do not know whythey could not send 1 letter to cover both! I have also swithed my Mother-in-Law's Gas & Elec a week after mine, she is waiting for both letters thus far.
