  • What will stop me getting cashback?
    • You will lose your entitlement to the cashback if you fail to request an initial inspection within 90 days of your start date.
    • Where your Agreement with ScottishPower has been cancelled by you or by ScottishPower by giving at least 28 days’ written notice prior to (one) ScottishPower successfully receiving your first Direct Debit payment and/or (two) ScottishPower carrying out an initial inspection of your boiler, you will not be eligible for ScottishPower’s HomeComfort Cashback Offer.
    • If you cancel your agreement with ScottishPower during your cooling off period (being 14 days from the date of your application (or, if later, the date when you received confirmation from ScottishPower that your application has been successful)) as set out in your agreement with ScottishPower, you will no longer be eligible for ScottishPower’s HomeComfort Cashback Offer.
    • This program is being monitored, so any abuse of the terms in any way may result in your account being terminated.
    • Members who have recently applied for the ScottishPower HomeComfort cashback offer and have a pending application with ScottishPower for the HomeComfort product are not eligible.
  • What else is essential?
    • Your application for the HomeComfort Product must be accepted by ScottishPower.
    • Cashback will be paid subject to the restrictions on your eligibility for cashback set out below, and should become payable by TopCashback up to 12 weeks after ScottishPower receives, in full, your first successful Direct Debit Payment.
    • Your boiler must also pass an initial inspection carried out by ScottishPower. ScottishPower will aim to carry out an initial inspection of your boiler within 28 days of your start date (being the date ScottishPower that received your first successful Direct Debit Payment). In the event that ScottishPower has not sought to make an appointment for your initial inspection with you or has not carried out such inspection within this period, it is your responsibility to request an initial inspection.
    • Available to new customers of ScottishPower only.
    • Applicable to applications processed on TopCashBack’s website only.
    • This cashback offer is only available to eligible members who have submitted a successful application on one occasion only and such members will lose their entitlement to apply for such cashback in any subsequent cases.
  • Good to know
    • If you meet the eligibility criteria set out below, please note that the rate of cashback which you are entitled to will depend on the type of membership account you have with TopCashback (such as the Classic Account or the Plus Account) when you are logged into your account on TopCashback’s Website. If you are not a TopCashback member and do not have an account or are not logged into your member account, the rate of cashback set out on this webpage will include the PlusMember Bonus.     • Please note that ScottishPower’s HomeComfort offer will only be valid if the offer is ‘live’ and displayed on TopCashback’s website on the date you purchase ScottishPower’s HomeComfort product. Cashback will not be payable where the offer has expired and is no longer displayed on TopCashback’s website or has been obtained from an unauthorised third party website. Cashback is available through TopCashback’s website for genuine transactions completed fully and immediately on ScottishPower’s website.
    • This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other cashback offer from ScottishPower.
    • This cashback offer is solely applicable to ScottishPower’s HomeComfort Care product and does not apply to any other ScottishPower product (including, for the avoidance of doubt, the Landlord Boiler Care Product and gas and electricity).
    • Your eligibility is subject to TopCashback’s Terms and Conditions (set out on TopCashback’s website) and ScottishPower’s Terms and Conditions (which you will receive upon successfully completing your application). Please familiarise yourself with all of the terms and conditions contained therein.
    • Transactions for this merchant should appear as pending within 24 hours. They will remain at this status until the retailer confirms that we're eligible for cashback. Once this happens your purchase will reach the confirmed stage of your account. When the merchant then pays us the cashback we can make this payable in your account.
  • What to do when
    • The vast majority of transactions from merchants track successfully, occasionally a transaction may not get reported. If you believe this to be the case, please submit a "Missing Cashback" query within 100 days of the transaction, we will be unable to chase up claims older than this.
