Hotel.com seemingly offer good (high) rate of cashback - however, this is simply done in order to entice you into spending your holiday budget with them. After you have separated with your money (and having been promised 8.08% cashback on what your spend) you are then declined your cashback figure.... with no reason or explanation given. Indeed, yes, I used a discount code - but this as a legitimately advertised discount code provided by Hotels.com themselves. Indeed, if it weren't, why would their website allow the discount code to function?! It is discussing that the company advertises itself via promotions, discounts and cashback....yet then they do not honour them. Indeed, it's a good money making policy ewhich protects their profits....but this alienates your customers. I would not use Hotels.com ever again after this. However, I can go one better again; I can cancel will them immediately. I have free cancellation on my booking. I am booking the same accommodation through one of Hotel.com's competitors. Joke is on you Hotels.com; I'll have my £800+ back immediately please. Disgraceful behaviour. Misleading and false advertising. You should be prosecuted. TopCashBack should remove your business from here. Shame on TopCashBack for administering this behaviour too.

I have earned a substantial amount with Hotels.com so as well as free nigths i get cashback. Good prompt payers with an excellent rate. MAkes me use this merchant a lot more than I would otherwise.

I would give no stars if possible! made a £945 purchase with them last year with a supposed 12.12% (£114) cash back. This cash back was never received, merchant refused to pay even after missing cash back claim. Feel totally mislead, i would have made my purchase elsewhere and received other cash back deals if id have known hotels.com were so untrustworthy

I have been using Topcashback for years and have to say that after spending over £1500 with Hotels.com that they are the first company not to pay cashback that I was due. Over £150! Attempted to chase through Topcashback who although very helpful were ultimately unsuccessful. Tread with care. ??

I have been using Hotels.com for a number of years now and have never been disappointed. Their prices of hotels are extremely competitive and they do a price guarantee match which I used once and it worked fine. The 'reward' nights are an added bonus which I actually managed to use twice this year. Great site, highly recommended.

Recently transaction amounts are not shown in full. Earlier it was a complete figure. But for past few days Transaction values are less (shown without Tax). For every other retailer even Tax is considered as a purchase value so found this bit strange.
