The site was easy to use and understand and clearly showed all the options for hotels available in the area. Check out was easy - unlike Expedia - I tried 10 times to check out without succeeding - then I went to this site and did it straight away!

Quick and easy to book with hotels.com but be aware of extra charge included. At time of booking I was charged extra £26.80 and on quering this, was told it was due to over-occupancy but this was incorrect. Hotels.com customer service rang the hotel then called me back to advise the charge was incorrect & I got a refund straightway. Will certainly use them again

Note, if you use a discount voucher they don't give cashback! And when you don't use a voucher, they still try to get out of giving cashback. Evntually I did recieve it from them, but it was an uphill struggle ...

The transaction tracked OK and was showing up soon after the online purchase. Then, some weeks later, the amount payable turned to zero as it got to the payable status. I contacted topcashback and they investigated. Eventually the transaction was tracked down again and matched (after I had to supply proof - it was already stated in the transaction details through order number etc). Finally, months later, the transaction is showing up again ... but is right back at the first stage once more. Not impressed.

Cashback did not track initially but a short while after a claim was submitted a generous amount entered my "pending" column. Hope to receive this eventually

Am I the only one with problems? This tracked quickly and correctly, then a few days before my stay it went to £0. More then two weeks later still no progress. I intend booking another hotel today but will use another company until this is resolved.

I have received nothing. The hotel visit was back in August, estimated date was 30 Sept. I see from other feedback they are normally good at paying. Not sure what's happened here!

Made 2 transactions on Hotels.com, one of which didn't track and the other tracked quickly but changed to 0 not long afterwards. Had to submit cashback claims and am waiting for Topcashback to sort it out. The site offered good rate of cashback but I wasn’t impressed with the procedures.

Cashback reverted to zero, but eventually paid out after I queried it. BUT!!! I paid £67 for a twin room, only to find on arrival at the hotel that their rate was £35.10. £32 therefore went to hotels.com. So ALWAYS ring the hotel directly first.
