I purchased a couple of hotel rooms. The purchase failed to track. Then I found them much cheaper on lowcostholidays. Hotels.com have a price match guarantee but they refused to match the lower price. So I cancelled the booking and booked them at the cheaper site.

Be careful my cashback even though it was tracked as £4-45 has become payable as £0. Not a very dependable company.

Very slow to track and I have had to raise a claim every time to get my cashback. Transaction not confirmed after a month, but I know this can take longer.

Be careful when using discount vouchers. I used a discount code for 10% and my cashback changed to zero for that particular transaction with Hotels.com. It was still a bigger saving than the cashback on offer so still a good deal but if a lower value discount code has the same effect then obviously that would not be good.
Still waiting for my other transaction (without a discount voucher) to come through so I will report back later

Totally ecstatic with whole thing - great hotel prices, discount code that was recommended worked, and fab cash-back rate tracked straight away - time will tell of course if cash-back appears but I am always optimistic and haven't been let dowm yet.

Regularly use Hotels.com I have booked over 50 nights in the last year and earning 5 free hotels stays.
Remember to sign in to the hotels.com site every visit or you might book and not receive any welcome rewards.
I have had 2 tcb non tracks in that time, the first was sorted out very quickly the second i am waiting on now.

I did not use a voucher code.
I use a separate browser for my TCB purchases (to ensure no tracking problems).
I did pay full.
I did complete the stay.
I do have proof of stay and payment in full.
Result = Zero cashback.

Very difficult to tell whether use of codes will result in cashback being paid. My experience with a few bookings has been mixed. Sometimes you get cashback. Sometimes you don't - ie. cashback becomes zero when it becomes payable, with explanation being that I've used a voucher code.

Excellent and efficient service from one of the best Hotel search engines on the web. I have used Hotels.com on a number of occasions and am delighted that they offer their services through TopCashBack.

Booked hotel in March, didn't track at all til May after submitting missing cashback claim!
Have since booked other holiday hotel in May, and no sign of that tracking either. Probably will have to submit another missing cashback claim for this merchant. What's the problem??? It's so frustrating.

Initially tracked fine but then put back to zero...for no reason. As the break is shortly I was almost tempted to cancel and re-book seeing that there is a bigger discount promotion on at the moment.
I have submitted a claim and will see what the outcome is.
