Needed tickets urgently but resent £3.50 credit card fee. Also had to queue some time to collect tickets from a machine at the station and the issuing machine was then very slow. Would have been much quicker to purchase at the ticket office where there were no queues! Would I have got the same price -who knows?
Would use them again but might investigate other providers first next time

I always receive my cashback from the trainline and it normally tracks within a couple of hours of my purchase. It would be great if the cashback rate was a bit higher though given the increased prices of train tickets!

Saved money on train tickets I needed. Easy to use ticket booking, got the times and dates I wanted. Book ahead and get tickets posted out for no fuss or bother on the day of travel!

Always read the small print when buying train tickets from these. It shows you cheap versions of what you've not quite ordered. If you read the small print it has odd T&C's.

Even with the cash back, it was cheaper to just buy the ticket from my local station. £3.50 for using AmEx and £1 booking fee

Always found this site very good for journey planning and ticket purchase. Shows all details and if booking in advance great price tickets. Straightforward site to use and they did pay the cashback.

Booked the tickets for a journey to Portsmouth at 2.30pm and received them the next morning. The cashback tracked very quickly. A larger amount of cashback would be better though.
