Railcards Available

16-25 Railcard

Anyone aged 16-25, or over 25 and in full-time study, can apply for a 16-25 Railcard.

For a fee of £30 a year, holders will get a third off Standard Anytime, Off-Peak, Standard Advanced and First-Class Advanced fares throughout Great Britain. To buy online, you will need a valid UK driving licence, passport or valid debit or credit card to prove you are eligible, while you will need to be able to upload a passport-style photo from your computer.

To save more money, you can buy a three-year 16-25 Railcard for £70 exclusively online. This will save you £20 compared to having to renew your annual Railcard for three consecutive years and can be purchased up until the day before your 24th birthday. A £12 minimum fare for single and return tickets applies between 04:30 and 09:59 Monday-Friday, except on Public Holidays or during July and August.

Family & Friends Railcard

The Family & Friends Railcard gives you a third off most adult fares and 60% off the price of kids' tickets throughout Great Britain, and can be used by up to four adults when travelling with up to four children aged between five and 15.

These cards can be issued in the name of two adults, meaning that if one named person cannot use it, the other one can, as long as they are travelling with at least one child over the age of five. The card costs £30, but you can buy a three-year card online for £70, which will save you £20 compared to renewing a one-year Railcard three times, while you can save even more with our Family & Friends Railcard offer as it will earn you cashback.

Railcard discounts are not available on any morning peak period ticket for journeys wholly within the London & South East Network Railcard area from Monday-Friday, except on Public Holidays.

Senior Railcard

People aged 60 and over can save a third on most first and standard class rail fares in Great Britain with a Senior Railcard.

As well as saving you money on train fares, the card will also allow holders to make the most of partner offers, which will provide you with exclusive discounts across the UK. These could include deals on holidays, theatre tickets and eating out.

As well as being able to purchase a three-year Senior Railcard exclusively online for £70 - saving you £20 on the cost of renewing your one-year Railcard for three consecutive years - if you buy through TopCashback, you can save even more when you travel on trains by taking up one of our Railcard promo codes or cashback deals.

Two Together Railcard

The Two Together Railcard allows two named people aged 16 or over who are travelling together to get a third off both standard and first class Anytime, Off-Peak and Advanced fares.

The savings apply when you travel after 9.30am Monday-Friday or anytime at weekends or on Public Holidays. Whether you and your partner or friend regularly travel by train to go shopping or enjoy weekends away, you can use the Two Together Railcard, which costs £30 (£15 each), as many times as you like throughout the year on Virgin Trains, London Midland or First Great Western services. You can knock even more off the cost of your journey by earning cashback with our Railcard offers.
