Cashback did not track. Topcashback were excellent and after submitting a claim the cashback appeared in my list. Unfortunately it has now gone down to £0 and is payable. I definitely followed the rules and did not use any promotional codes etc so I am not sure why it was rejected. I resent paying the extra handling fee to buy online but I was expecting the cashback to counter that. I will not be using thetrainline again if I can help it, and certainly will not expect to receive cashback from them.

Took ages to track - finally appeared but 2 weeks later showed as a nil meaning claim was cancelled. Not recommended!

Cash back tracked quickly. It's a shame that cash back offered not as high as southern railways but trainline is more reliable for cash back being tracked. If removed booking fee would use more often when booking tickets

Tracked very quickly for a ticket from Berwick to Portsmouth. The cash-back basically covered my booking fee, so not a great deal. But better than nothing.

Refused to payout cashback, even though they admited claim was legit. Plus they charge a booking fee, use nationalrail no booking fee, same prices.

Unfortunately the booking fees now charged by thetrainline often exceed the amount of cashback you would get: £1 for any booking and £2+ for credit cards. So you'd need to be buying some expensive train tickets to make it worthwhile...

First time I've used them and can't fault them. Easy to use site, had a good deal, cash back tracked within 2 hours of booking. My tickets arrived the next day. Highly recommended.

Great to use when buying group tickets as you get more than buying one or two tickets, would be better if the cashback amount was slightly higher though!
Always tracks within 24hours for me and you pretty much get tickets within two/three days after purchase!

rarely tracks. have to submit a claim 90% of the time. some claims still outstanding from 8 months ago but i keep using because it's worth it in the end!
