Bought a bike for £725 and expected about £30 cash back. After 3 months and conversations with TCB customer Services they have rejected my claim as I could not prove it was done through TCB! I would NOT recommend Evans (perhaps it was just the Manchester branch?) - they were the same price as shops far nearer to me so I shoudl have used an indepensdent not them

I bought a shiny new bike for a big 4 figure sum in September 2012… and I chose to buy from Evans only because of the 5% cashback. However, it didn't track. So i lodged a claim. No news for ages. Eventually I chased it with Evans directly but they didn't want to know about it. So imagine my surprise when today, 21 months later, I receive a payment for £145. Better late than never! But as TCB advise themselves, don't rely on cashback when you make your buying decisions… but it's a bonus when it works out!

The way these guys honour Cashback is fantastic - My Amount (which is significant) is already pending after a couple of Weeks and I have not yet received the bike! (Due end of Mar) I have paid in advance for this but as they gave an extra 1% offer on the normal cashback rate this exceeds any interest in the bank on the amount - Why cant they all be as good as this shining example of customer commitment?
