User friendly and green option
This was very simple and quick to get cash back. Although only a small amount, it was cleared and confirmed quickly. I also like that this is a greener way of purchasing tickets as I was able to buy etickets for my phone. Great experience and would definitely use as my go to train app!

Cashback at lower rate
Cashback amount paid at a lower rate . Showing a higher rate for new customers so i registered as a new customer but was the paid the cashback amount showing for an existing customer

wrong amount of cashback
'all other fares' as new customer was purchased, created an account as a new customer, yet cashback of an existing customer was awarded, significantly less.

I use Trainline a lot as part of my job, tracking is always pretty quick and purchase amounts are usually spot on.

not a great company to pay topcashback
Had to chase cashback on a growing number of occasions . It has led me to look elsewhere for travel arrangements as promoting their company on this site is one thing , having the confidence they will pay the cashback is another . To give a percentage of occasions cashback needs chasing..probably 50 % .

Grand sum of 60 pence cashback for a train tickets costing over £100 and over 9 months to payout. Not a great deal really.

Regularly travel by train so use Trainline and one or two other sites to book tickets.
Like: easy to use
Dislike: don't usually have option to book seats; insists on offering split tickets when you don't necessarily need them; booking fee.
