Tracked fairly quickly, moved to Confirmed once the supplier change took effect, so just waiting for it to become Payable now. The actual transfer was quite painless. However, Customer Service does leave a lot to be desired so I'm hoping I don't need to speak to them again - maybe I was just unlucky, but the person I spoke to was ignorant. I've gone for a capped tariff, so I'll know by this time next year whether or not the change was worthwhile - if the £40 or so cashback goes through, I shouldn't really lose out overall.

I've been waiting since July 2010 for the cash to be paid out and it keeps getting but back a month tcb say its just an estimate as to when it will get paid but i'm not holding out hope i originally switched suppliers back in march 2010 so do at your own risk.

My suspicion is that Scottish Power clearly only pay the cashback once they have taken from you AT LEAST the amount they will owe you in Cashback!! ie. several months!!
Still - let's be honest, there's tens of thousands who sign up to new energy suppliers who don't even know about Cashback websites - so we shouldn't really be complaining; at least as long the money arrives eventually........!!

cashback did not track, after submiiting a claim with topcashback and a few nudges cashback was finally given - is now confirmed and has been forwell over a month...

As previous comments - cashback took an incredibly long time (no fault of TopCashBack), but since the money came through in the end "all's well that ends well"!

03/08/10 I appreciate you ask for a little extra time to be left on this, but my estimated payment date was 31/05 and we are now in August.
From your site it appears you haven''t received payments from Scottish Power since May, so perhaps there is a problem somewhere ?
Anyway, i see from the review thread that people are getting twitchy regarding SP, so perhaps some communication / reassurance or re-estimate of date for payment would help.

Scottish Power not reached payable status
It is not unusual for a contract based transaction to take longer to reach payable status. This is often because the merchant may allow the policy to be running for a short time before approving and paying for this.
We are not experiencing any long delays with this merchant's transactions but appreciate that some members may find that their transaction has passed the estimated date and we would kindly request that you allow a little extra time for these to progress.

Cashback initially expected 31st May, now the 30th July and still not received. Having played this "game" for a while I am accustomed to waiting for delayed cashbacks and not only through TopCashback.
However, being seen to be proactive and communicating payment delays would be a good idea as it keeps the end customers (us) in the loop and helps manage expectations, rather than pile up complaints masked as comments on the reviews.

took out two dual fuels for two different properties (my own and mothers house)...one failed to track...but that was eventually sorted. Now cashback has become payable as ZERO for both properties despite the switchover on both having been successful last month! have raised a claim with TCB but not hopeful at the outcome ... lost around £100 !

Still waiting for cash back t appear on my account. Switched to Scottish Power in June 12, didn't show up as tracked. I assumed this was because it would show once the switch was complete.
Lodged missing cash back claim in August, still waiting for a result nothing back from Scottish Power as yet, very poor, would not use again.

Switched supplier to Scottish Power in March 2011 and have now had confirmation that Scottish Power will not be honouring the claim (£80). To top it all Scottish Power have taken an increased monthly fee, i'm in credit by £400 and they are slow to pay this back - have rung the customer service about the cash-back and refund and they are unhelpful and say they cannot help regarding the cash-back. Steer clear would be my advice unless they are offering you cheaper gas & electric by a large margin. I swapped due to them being slightly cheaper plus the cashback then made it worth the switch - how wrong I was. That said Topcashback have been very good in helping resolve the issue and in the end its not their fault Scottish power have not honoured their deal.

Changed supplier to SP early May. Am STILL waiting for Cashback six months later - if they don't pull their fingers out soon, I'll have switched again before it ever gets paid. Not happy. (PS - I thought there used to be a "nudge" feature to remind TCB to look into o/s payments, has this been disabled?)

I transferred via topcashback on 21/05/11 but still no cash back as of 7th November. Topcashback do occasionally update the status but the updates do not give you the impression that the cash back is forthcoming any time soon.

I switched my energy suppliers in May this year with a hope to get £60 cash back. The cash back tracked and was due on 30/08/2011. No sign of cash back and no update from TopCashback team. Very very disappointing. I would not recommend switching to Scottish Power as they seem to be deceitful on cash back offer.

Switched in March 2011 and still waiting for my £80.00. To all those those people complaining about Topcashback, firstly its not their fault and don't worry you will get the money, it may just take some time. I have carried out many transactions through Topcashback and got my cashback on every occasion, at the end of the day you are getting something for nothing.
That said though, it rarely takes this long, and I am becomming a little frustrated by Scottish Power as I really need the money, so by that token I'm disappointed. So thumbs down currently.
