After reading comments about scottish power i thought i would have a long wait for cash back if recieved at all. however that worry was for nothing.
recieved great customer service during my switch and also a lot better price than southern electric. also cashback became payable on the date they specified, so that is going to be paying for my gas and electric for a few months.
Overall with speed of cashback tracked, pending and payable, and also with customer service i would recommend.

tracked after only a few hours. picked this utilty copany in view of its prices and customer services reputation so super fast cashback tracking was an added bonus. would recommend.

I applied to Scottish Power (via Topcashback site) on 20th August, 2010. Power was switched from my previous supplier at the end of October and Cashback paid into my account the first week in November, 2010. So more than happy with my experience. Sorry others don't appear to have been so lucky??

I have just recieved £140.50 cash back into my bank account from this retailer for switching gas and electricity to them in July. So all good there.
The switch wasn't completely smooth. I have had to chase them up when at first they put me on a different tarrif than the one I applied for. This tarrif kept me locked in for an extra seven months. This took a few weeks and about three or calls to resolve. But was resolved in my favour. I now have to sort out my online account management that I have never been able to access (I have held off from sorting this out untill I recieved my cash back payment).

£100 cashback for switching to a cheaper tariff, can't be bad!! The money tracked fine, jsut hope they don't put the prices up too much now!!

I applied for Scottish Power on the 6th June 2010 through Top Cashback and the payment became 'payable' on the 5th October 2010. Not too bad - Scottish Power worked out to be £36 a year cheaper compared to my previous supplier and with this £130 cashback it's turned out to be a very nice saving! Thank you Top Cashback!!!

Finally the £130 has become payable. I transferred in April and it has been a long wait for the cashback but it is worth being patient. I expect it would be the same experience with any other energy supplier.

I have been waiting for my Cashback to track for over 3 months. I completed a manual claim and have sent nudges once every month since. I must admit that i did think i would never see this money in Pending but is today showing. Over £135.00 with the top-up from top cashback so am really pleased. I believe Top Cashback to be the best site I've used with all but one manual claim, not been paid. Scottish Power so far so good but I havent had my first bill yet so only time will tell!!

I suspect peterstcb you are right. I am now into my 2nd billed month with SP although I applied for the switch back in June. As there is no minimum contract term (that I am aware of) I presume they have to delay the payout to reduce the chances of people taking the cashback and immediately switching again to another supplier? makes business sense if you think about it! I'm sure it will be paid eventually.

well my cashback is finally payable after 4 months. the original payable date was 31st may and it has just become payable on 16th august, i think i joined scottish power in april. So this merchant is very slow at paying but you do get it in the end.

I joined scottish power at the end of april and cashback should have been payable by 31st may but although it is confirmed it is still not yet payable and it is now july. it did track within a day at the right amount though so no complaints there.
Top cashback say that they are experiencing some delays with scottish power but my payment should be in the next batch so hopefully it won't be long now.
Even without the cashback i am still saving £105.00 a year by switching, they came up cheapest with every comparison site.
