While some members who chose EDF to be their energy supplier have reported issues with their cashback, many members have left positive EDF Energy reviews, with some saying theirs was paid out faster than expected. Comments include “good cashback rate for switch over — two to three months to pay out” and “brilliant. Saved on dual fuel and cashback showed within five hours”.

One said: “EDF have been very efficient and helpful in setting up my account and dealing with any queries or problems I have had.” Others praised the fact their site is easy to use and the switching process not confusing at all. EDF Energy review feedback includes “a very good service and an easy changeover” and “smooth transition from my previous supplier — kept me informed at every stage”.

	Don't waste time clicking through. The £50 tracked at £20. The £20 was declined with no reason given to the support team when they questioned it. Unfortunately, it took so long to track that I have to live with the fixed-rate contract unless I pay to leave. Win-Win if you're EDF :(

	Declined Cash Back On TopCashback they are still advertising up to £50 cashback with EDF if you sign up to a dual fuel deal. This is not true as they decline to fund the payment after you have renewed your contract so you have to query same. Seems like a scam to me.

	EDF is being dishonest I didn't trust them but the deal made sense, and it's worked out for other TopCashBack offers. I checked the terms of the offer very carefully, making PDFs of the page on TCB, the click through and the final contract - all time stamped. I explicitly made sure cookies were enabled and made the purchase immediately, following all advice and instructions to avoid having to submit a missing claim. I only went with EDF because of this offer, yet they declined it so it feels like a scam - £50 is a lot of money to mislead customers over so I will escalate it if they try to claim I somehow did not do something when I definitely did!

	Finally got my cashback! Appreciate it states estimated payable 14 weeks, got my £80 at week 23 but I never bank on getting cashback and always bear in mind, 'cashback is never guaranteed'.

	Did not track Browser cookies and cache cleared in advance, clicked through from Topcashback (didn’t go via search engine, price comparison, or direct to EDF site), landed on a EDF ‘Topcashback page’ to start quote, completes purchase immediately — DONE EVERYTHING CORRECTLY, but energy switch DID NOT TRACK. Poor merchant with lots of bad reviews, so should be removed from Topcashback until they improve their tracking performance and honour genuine transactions and claims.

	It seems impossible to purchase eDF services through TopCashback I tried to purchase EDF services through the TopCashback website, but the EDF webpage did not allow me to complete the purchase successfully. It instructed me to call EDF directly. When I called EDF, they informed me that I needed to register my address over the phone before I could purchase their services. I then asked whether I would still be eligible for the £50 cashback from TopCashback if I purchased the service over the phone, and they said no. I further inquired whether I could return to TopCashback to complete the purchase after registering my address over the phone, but they hung up on me. This happened twice, making me feel that this is a scam, as it seems impossible to purchase EDF services through TopCashback.

	Very slow payout but got there in the end. Clicked and waited and waited. Not quite sure why it should take 7 months to receive cashback, but process was straightforward - purchased, tracked, waited, received cashback.

	Payment of cashback really slow I waited 26 weeks for my cashback which should have paid in 14 weeks ended up contacting Top Cashback and because it had been confirmed for ages they paid it.

	Cash back Process Takes far too long Lodged cash back in Aug 24 with estimated payable 14 weeks. December 24 cash back was confirmed. Nearly end of Feb 25 and still not payable. Pull your finger out EDF!

	Still Waiting - 6 months+ I am not impressed at all, with EDF and this scheme, about 14 weeks wait on average , and yet 6 months+ (8/2/25) still waiting, ( and theer are others waiting this long too) I know stupidly I swopped supplier counting on the £50 to make it a better deal, but at this rate I will probably have left EDF before I get this cashback, if I get it ?

	Got cashback after a few months I did get cashback after a few months £60 EDF are a good supplier but make sure you have a smart meter installed to keep eye on your usage I have done this again and waiting for £60 cashback
