While it is fair to say you will find some negative Agoda reviews below, plenty of positive remarks have been left by our members. While some people have complained about their cashback not tracking, others who have booked with the hotel service through us have clearly had no such issues. Some of the feedback you will find includes “perfect, paid on due date — no complaints from me”, “confirmed and payable within five months” and “cashback confirmed and payable within specified period”.

You will also find positive Agoda review feedback about the deals available on the Agoda site and the service provided by them. Our members have said such things as “great deals on hotel accommodation”, “great bargains to be found”, “good company with some fantastic rates. Very reliable” and “good value for money”. If you take a look on Trustpilot, you will find the vast majority of customers who have left reviews have been very complimentary, with comments including “easy and clear to book with competitive rates”, “best thing ever” and “best price and easy for booking”.

	Avoid. Payout has taken 7 months and was reduced by 40% with no explanation. High cashback rate is just a scam to get bookings.

	Utterly terrible, tracked at correct amount until it went to pending stage and dropped considerably. Had to resubmit booking details multiple times. Has finally proceeded to payable at a lower amount which i've decided to take as reading all the other feedback, i'm not convinced i'd get anywhere. The worse cashback experience i've had on TCB in 4.5 years.

	good cashback rate but took them a long time to confirm after a couple of attempts chasing them up. Not the most responsive of retailers so I'd be less tempted to use them again.

	Agoda did not pay our cashback. We specifically chose them because of Topcashback, but they are claiming that I did not click through this despite the fact that it shows in my click to merchants. They took a long time to make any decisions on this and then decided apparently I didn't click through via topcashback first- when the only reason I found Agoda, was through topcashback.

	Twice tracked and declined. Booked a few hotels via Topcashback. Two of them tracked and then stayed pending for so long that by the time they declined it was too late to raise a claim with Topcashback

	Appalling. Purchase of over £250 made back in Jan 2916. Incorrectly tracked and reported straight away. No update from merchant. Requested to submit transaction details, all done. No further updates. Stay completed and payment made for around half of expected cashback. No update or explanation given. Very poor. Will not use again.

	Agoda sucks.took 11 months to resolve a missing cashback.most of the time they drag their heels by keep asking for detail upon detail of the booking, when I had already provided the essentials.

	Feels like it's taken ages to get the cash back and also the people at agoda weren't as helpful as the hotel we were staying at when there turned out to be a problem with the booking. Still it all worked out in the end

	had tracking issues. If you lodge missing claim, provide booking ID, otherwise Agoda will reject, but TCB will follow-up.

	Agoda has a rating of 99.35%. How come. Just read the reviews and you'll find out they are a non payer. Out of 8 bookings 2 have registered with Topcash back, but I'm not holding out that they will actually pay!

	Two cashbacks last year didn't track. This year only two out of six tracked. An improvement I suppose but still the worst hotel booking agent by far. In fact Hotels, Booking, Amoma, Late Rooms and Last Minute have all been 100% reliable for me. Advice - avoid!!!!

	Caveat emptor, everyone. I've been using TCB for many years and I've been very happy with almost every merchant here - you follow their rules then generally you are ok. Agoda are a different kettle of fish and are playing the game with a view to reducing cashback paid as much as they can. They will move around saying cookies are potentially conflicting how you have arrived at their website, which would be fine if it was the same for every other merchant - but it's not. Look, if you find a price on Agoda and that's the cheapest then go for it - cashback should always be viewed as a bonus - but when they are offering quite high levels of cashback it does have an obvious appeal. The hotel was great and everything was as it should have been but it's a little sour now.

	Was worrying they won't pay as there are lots negative reviews. I stayed in the hotel in Feb. and had been confirmed in March and paid in June. No problems.
