cashback does not track at all
cashback does not track at all but i have received the money once I've raised the claim and received the money but this varies - first time took 8 months to get the money second time got the money in 3 weeks. so this does vary- the cashback is good but can take some time

Absolute scam of a company
I read all the bad feedback about cashback not tracking and thought everyone must have done something wrong. I use TopCashBack all the time and have only had 1 out of hundreds not track. I clicked through to Viator, searched for the trip I wanted to book, and completed the purchase. Guess what? No cashback tracking. It didn't even show up as "pending" or "declined". Opened a case with TopCashBack and got a result back today. Viator has stated the reason for the sale was not TopCashBack.

Never tracks!
I often use Viator and they offer great, reasonably priced trips and tours with reputable operators. However, my purchases never track and I always have to submit a claim through customer service. So much so, that I screenshot each transaction so that I have the information to submit. Not sure why this always happens?

Claim declined, no reason given and impossible to fight. What’s the point of them being here? Feels like a roulette approach.

Cashback for my boat trip was declined for no reason.
I booked a boat trip in Bulgaria, clicked through as I was supposed to and paid. Cashback was declined for seemingly no reason and I cannot put in a ticket as it occurred more than 180 days ago- it took longer than 180 days for the cashback to be declined. Pointless waste of time and dishonest company.

Dishonest and unreliable
They promise 10% cash back, which never shows up in your account, and they never reply to your rude messages, and top cash back doesn't care

Cashback tracked and paid
I know other people have had issues with this merchant however I've used 3 times over the last few years (last time recently, with a substantial amount of cashback expected) and it tracked without problems and it's been made payable

Had to fight for cash back. Not an easy process
I booked this trip in the knowledge that I was due to receive over £100 in cash back but this was not to be. Eventually received an offer of approximately 1/2 what I should have received..I would be very wary of using them again

Top Cashback not seen as the reason for purchase but strangely tracked £0
As said, ‘exclusive’ offers are just a scam. I’ve been using Top Cashback long enough to know to look at the small print, not refresh screens etc. I know how to ‘comply’. Only paid for the Viator experience up front (booked for August) so as to track the 13.6% exclusive offer cashback within its terms. Happy to take my money upfront but acknowledge the purchase as £0. As others have said, TopCashback not seen as the reason for purchase and registering as Trip Advisor parent company through the Cashback site. Strange then that it ‘tracked’-of sorts. Visitor should be removed from Top Cashback as exclusive offers really are proving ‘exclusive’. I’d have done myself a favour and paid for the experience 24 hours before if I’d have known. Guess I’ve always the option to cancel my purchase and go with a different operator.

Cashback is a scam!! Lodging claim a waste of time. Try to avoid Viator!!
Cashback promise a scam. Last 3 bookings did not track and lodging claim resulted in being ignored. Book with somebody else.

Slow to understand the problem
I have used Viator numerous times without problems. Last November a private tour I had booked through them, there was a need to change the start time. When I realised we would be an hour late arriving at the port I asked Viator would this be a problem. As the cruise got closer and closer, I rang/emailed everyday. Constantly they said they were waiting to hear back from the tour operator. They just couldn’t grasp that I needed to know, even a day before the tour, so I felt I had to cancel the trip, as if the tour company did turn up would they wait an hour or so and if they didn’t I would have lost my money and more importantly missed out on doing the trip. The overnight trip was £600+, it was too much to take a gamble on. Fortunately, I found another tour company, which wasn’t through TopCashback which was disappointing. The trip to The Bridge over the River Kwai was wonderful, just a shame Viator staff although friendly and helpful, when push came to shove were absolutely useless. I learned a valuable lesson, if they can’t resolve it in a fortnight, cut your stress levels and move on!

Scam
When you click to open a tour on the Vistor website, it opens a brand new page. Therefore, it comes away from the link used for Cashback, and the cashback is not registered. I reported this bug/glitch to TopCashback, and they said that error was on my part! Scam.

Pointless!
Booked an excursion for my holiday and the cash back never tracked even though there was an advertised offer on. Lodged a claim for them to say "topcashback wasn't the reason for purchase" all the you get from TC is how to make sure purchases track in future ?? waste of time, lost out on £30 ??

Paid quickly on all 5 purchases
Paid out well under a month after each purchase. Made five separate purchases, all of which were far and successful. Quite surprised actually given the large number of negative reviews and experiences posted here.

Poor customer service is what you get from these
Had to put a claim in it was declined, don't use these people as they don't advertise their trips correctly and give you the right information. Very poor customer service, I would get more help from a break wall.

Very hit and miss with this company, sometimes it tracks straight away and sometimes not at all. The operator cancelled my trip anyway with less than 24 hours notice so I wasn't at all pleased, tried to make a complaint to Viator but they didn't want to know.

Used to track.... not anymore!
I used to read the reviews of Viator not tracking and wonder what the hell people were talking about. Now I know. It never tracks anymore. Thankfully, as it's always 100% refundable, I wait a day or two to see if it tracks and if it doesn't, I cancel and book via AVIOS and get points there instead.
