An update on my comment from 17 February.
The missing RAC cashback team have today advised that the missing £30 has now been credited. It's taken 3 months of chasing but the promised cashback has now been honoured. Thank you cashback team.

The advertised cashback on RAC breakdown is £30.30 for spend between £41 and £100, and £60.60 for spend of £101+. Having spent £101, I was expecting the advertised £60.60 cashback but only £30.30 has been paid. Have lodged a claim for the missing £30.30 but, after 3 months, this is still awaiting merchant comment. This is an excellent cashback deal if paid but left very disappointed that the advertised cashback has not been honoured and with no explanation. I think I'll be trying the AA next year if this claim doesn't get settled.

I have been biding my time waiting for £60 cashback since 3rd December 2012. The Topcashback advice I got was keep waiting. It seems like others are waiting for theirs too. I think we've been stitched up folks.
I never would have got this level of cover except for participating in this offer, So I now intend to cancel my membership and association of both of these organisations (RAC and Topcashback).

Both for car insurance and breakdown cover with RAC, I have had to lodge a cashback claim as both times the transaction has not tracked! Did finally receive £30 cashback on breakdown cover after good work by TopCashback's claiming service but still waiting for cashback on car insurance. Be prepared to wait!

Having previously used both TCB and RAC without a gliche, I purchased RAC cover rather than my current AA provider for breakdown and recovery.
I declined the cheaper offer in favour of extra cashback in the long term but I was awarded an equal amount by the RAC when the transaction had tracked.
This promotion is still being billed at 60 pounds but 30 pounds is all that is offered!
When I claimed thru TCB I was told it could take upto several months to get a response and then may not be a good result. Far too late to cancel my RAC cover by then.

Manual Claim was a success the money has just appeared as confirmed however the estimated payable date is 26 weeks!!!! which is ridiculous and means it would have taken nearly a year from the the initial transaction to recieving the cashback!

I spent over £105 and paid up front. The transaction did not track, despite TCB contacting the RAC. I therefore cancelled the policy we you have the right to do, within their cooling off period. The policy only seemed like good value with the cashback, not without it.

Purchased online as instructed and tracked very quickly.
However RAC did not take payment so I had to contact them.
Over 1 month after "purchase" the RAC decide to reject my cashback for no reason.
Called them to cancel and informed that it would take 24 days for a refund !!!!!
At least Dick Turpin wore a mask !!!!

Nice try RAC but Green Flag are both cheaper by over 0% and have better reviews for customer service and sorting out breakdowns.
I went for Green Flag and saved nearly £40.00 plus I still get my cashback.

Confused - my policy is worth £135, paid in full but tracking as £30 which is the £40-£100 policy rate. Will have to raise a claim. TCB have been very good with other claims raised so i am confident it'll get sorted!
