My National Trust purchase was a nightmare. It was meant to be a retirement gift for my husband. I set up DD and membership start date a month in advance. The money was debited ,but no pack arrived in time to give to my husband.Numerous 0844 calls - all promised a speedy resolve.One month into the mebership the pack arrived. I asked for it to be backdated and this was done. It was when I checked on Top cashback I realised the the NT had taken the amount before the discount for setting up a DD. I am still waiting for over £30 that has been overcharged. The finance dept has not agreed to refund it -yet. I have now found a telephone number that is not 0844.

Joined 21st April - Tracked within 2 hours - then after a couple of days the amount payable went to £0. Took 8-9 weeks to get membership pack through in the post and then finally on 28th June the direct debit has come out. So have launched an enquiry. Friend had similar problem and 3 months after launching enquiry still no cash back.
