Wow, after reading all the negative feedback about this insurer, i had no hope in hell of recieving the £20.20 cashback. My cashback amount stayed the same, however the purchase amount changed to 0.00. The payable date had passed (30.07.11), so no chance of enquiry with TCB, but to my amazement it had become payable, two weeks after the payable date (15.07.11), so im very impressed. I made a quick withdrawal and am a very happy bunny.

Like many others I too have fallen prey to the £20 scam being reduced to zero after 100 days.
My replies from cashback I feel have been less than satisfactory and think that they should be more active in chasing these many claims by everyone. I now have had to contact LV customer services myself where they told me they have nothing to do with TopCashBack and claim to not even have heard of them!!
LV were the cheapest quote I got but will not be renewing with them if this is not resolved correctly.
I think my next port of call will be ASA as i feel that most of us have been duped by false promises.

I did not,rightly or wrongly, pursue a claim but, i will learn from this experinece and I will NOT renew my home insurance with LV at any price when the current cover expires.This feeling is especially strong when you have NOT been compelled to make a claim and speaks volumes of what you might expect if you had unfortunately had to. It seems as if they work on the assumption of inertia like the banks etc. However in the real world if you let the customer down they will vote with their feet as will I and I like many others talk to other peolple too!!!

Similar experience to the previous users zero cashback but will never use LV= Home Insurance again as all my other transactions have been successful.

Very disappointed with the cashback experience, you wonder if they will pay anything at all. It takes MONTHS to get cashback. Nothing is 100% guaranteed!

An update - I have since submitted a missing cashback claim for my purchase on the 04/08/10 where it jumped from £20 to £0. This was submitted in Nov and I still have not heard a thing. In Nov the cashback was only for £10 so TCP changed my claim from 20 to 10 also.
Regardless, I have not gotten anything.

Found a home insurance quote via confused.com from LV for £190. They offer £20 cashback, so went through TopCashBack - then got a quote from LV for £220! This was within 30mins, with exactly the same details. So, go through TopCashBack and pay more.
In the end, couldn't get the insurance anyway because a tiny message right at the end added a provision that I had to fit a new burglar alarm within 28 days of policy start! What a waste of time.

very easy to use got a fantasic deeal from the over 50 products £95 cashback have to wait six months to get it but insurance is for twelve months so no problem waiting well worth the hunting recomended it to any one
