I have made a few purchases from Argos in the past few years and they consistently refuse to pay cashback. Very unimpressed and disappointed. They have now lost a customer. Shame!

It's actually cheaper to get a topgiftcard and then go and spend it on the argos site than it is to wait for it to be confirmed and payable by them !

Easily tracked and paid out
With Argos, I have never had issues with getting the cashback. It gets tracked really quickly, and while it takes a while to be payable, it does show up after a while.

6 months and still nothing. My advice: DONT BOTHER!
I've given up expecting to receive any cashback from this outlet. I've been politely sending a nudge each month and a customer service enquiry with the unsatisfactory response of "This is due to the retailer checking in batches rather than individually".

They don't pay
3 separate cashback purchases made in Oct, Nov & Dec 2024 with Argos didn't show up in my tracked list. Missing claims submitted and 5-6 months later Argos has yet to respond to the Topcashback team.
It seems that, since Argos became part of the Sainsbury's group, cashbacks aren't paid if your Argos account is linked to a Nectar card even if you clicked through to the Argos site via a Topcashback click.
