A positive experience
Generally, there are no problems with tracking cashback from this retailer. You don't get a huge amount back but it's a purchase that I have to make regularly so it's nice to get a little something back each time.

Always pays out cashback
I've spent over £600 through Trainpal and every single one has paid out the cashback. Not sure why others have problems. Never had to raise a ticket. Glad it's on TCB as it's cheaper with the split tickets than buying through the network operator.

Trainpal transaction didnt track. Lodged claim. Trainpal claimed that the transaction never happened. Well my credit card would say otherwise!!

Accurate and Fast payout
Online purchase tracked straight away and was paid within a month.
Website is a bit fiddly and sometimes the number of passengers, or the date/time of travel resets itself, but as long as you keep an eye out for this, it's a great place to buy train tickets!

Excels in offering poor customer service
Beware, the advertised cashback and deals on TopCashback are not always honoured.
Currently there's a "£3 gift" being offered for railcard purchases. This doesn't exist.
TopCashback deny any knowledge, deflecting to TrainPal, which is unable to offer any customer service.
TrainPal does offer some cheap tickets, but when things go wrong (e.g. your train is cancelled), the company cannot manage these issues satisfactorily.
