Sainsbury's need to pay more
Usually tracks ok but the amount varies and sometimes you only get 85p which is annoying when you spend a lot of money on a regular basis at Sainsburys. They should pay out a lot more or I'll be shopping elsewhere.

Refused a year's worth of cashback
Sainsbury's have started to refuse cashback. I had over 12 months of backed up cashback, sat with the retailer. Suddenly, all refused (apparently not the last click) which is absolute nonsence. Will not be using Sainsburys again in the future once my delivery pass expires

Haven’t received any of the cashback shown on the websites in January.
I placed three home delivery orders in January, but I have not received the cashback advertised on the websites. I have had to contact customer service each time, and I am currently waiting for their responses.

Sainsburys - never any cash back
I have used Sainsburys numerous times and correctly clicked on cash back each time. Despite them being chased repeatedly they have now refused all of the claims (some nonsense about not being the last referrer). They clearly have no intention of honouring cash back claims. Due to this I intend to use other groceries stores going forward.

Doesn’t always give cash back
I just had a look at how many they paid out last year, it was 7, but two of those were £0.00 claimed. I have no idea why. Like everyone else, I don’t understand why some get paid out and some don’t. I’ll continue to try though, as I’m shopping with them anyway.

Never tracks
I use top cachback a lot. I also shop a Sainsburys a lot. Cashback has never tracked with Sainsburys.

Really slow to leave Cashback.
Takes several weeks, for the cashbach to appear in my account. Plus I had several months, without any payment, despite shopping being over £100 in every week. Did appeals on every one, which took an age, as not an easy process, but have heard nothing in around 2-3 months. I had a reply on 1 appeal, it said to see what the shop said, go to my account, yet nothing there. Really not sure it’s worth all the hassle now. Customer service puts it on you, to sort out, so again, not really worth my time anymore.

They don't give cash back
Sainsburys is my regular retailer for grocery delivery. I always go through top cash back but this seems never to be tracked. It's false advertising & I don't believe the statistics that are on this website as there is no actual evidence provided. Any number could be made up by the marketing team. It's really poor

Avoiding paying
Same experience as many others, they're avoiding legitimate claims with excuse about not being final referrer. Needs fixing or removing from platform. This has been happening for months and wasting everyone's time.

Absolute joke
Another customer here with the exact same experience. I’ve just had five more claims declined with the same copy-and-paste excuse: “TopCashback was not seen as the final referrer of the purchase.” If Sainsbury’s has no intention of honouring cashback, then TopCashback should remove them as a retailer. Keeping them listed while consistently rejecting legitimate claims is misleading to consumers and wastes everyone’s time.

Sainsbury's - Absolute Joke
I am another person that has had just about every cashback claim, made in 2025, rejected with "TopCashback was not seen as the final referrer of the purchase." What or who is the final referrer for the purchase? I buy from Sainsbury's weekly so you can imagine the number of claims I have made, but I can count on one hand the number of times the cashback has been paid. Topcashback should remove them as Cashback retailers since they aren't. They have no intention of honoring the cashback and that is misleading consumers.

Same issue same scam
It would appear I had the same push back as most people with negative reviews "TopCashback was not seen as the final referrer of the purchase." which is complete rubbish but clearly an easy way for Sainsburys to refuse paying the cashback that should be due. As usual another company protecting the bottom line and losing a customer.

Why bother?
Just had the 16th claim declined for "Not identified as last ...." Only good thing is that I don't have any Sainsbury's claims to keep track of any more. Unlikely that I will have any more claims to make in the future, as I have found another discount site (ironically directed to it by Sainsbury's website itself) which has been paying out. Though, even there, I have had 1 order queried, and only in the last couple of months. We shall see..... I just wish it was possible to give Zero stars. While I can't go elsewhere for all my groceries, I will be looking to reduce my spend with Sainsbury's; and I certainly won't be expecting cashback from any source. Will the people who are still giving 5 stars please share with the rest of us what they are doing to get cashback, when so many of us can't?

Over the past year or so I have found that orders placed with Sainsbury's no longer track, and after filing a case, cashback is always refused. Something needs to be done about this.

Another Victim Of The Never Pay Sainsbury's Con!
Around 20 grocery shops completed in the last 12 months and ALL denied despite the purchases being made on a clean, cashback dedicated PC that tracks fine with other cashback purchases - Sainsbury's still use the last referrer not being TCB excuse. I believe that it's high time Sainsbury's were removed from TCB as the countless one star reviews prove the issue of constant non-payment to be true and the odd glowing five star review highly questionable! Vote with your feet and stop using Sainsbury's, I'll be looking at an alternative grocery home delivery option in the near future as enough is enough.

Not last referrer ???
They seem to have stopped paying out cashback, latest one I was advised as "not last referrer" claim! Not sure how they deduced that, but biding my time with this supermarket. If my home delivery items are not avaiable at time of delivery they are either leaking, squashed or damaged - which I have complained about - maybe that is why my cashbacks are not filitering in. Notice other customer on this platform are kicking up too, so I know its not just me. As customers we should vote with our feet/tablet/mobile, towards other leading supermarkets.

Not last referrer
About a year ago they stopped accepting claims, every single one (generally 1 a week) has been knocked back with a "not last referrer" claim. They absolutely are the last referrer, even if I modify my order I go in via TCB. Hey ho, Sainsburys lose another customer to Ocado/Waitrose.
