Other positive reviews highlight the fact that their item was delivered before expected or the customer had enjoyed a smooth renewal of Office 365. In terms of cashback, not only are many members happy with the amount they receive, but others have left comments such as “tracked within hours, cashback received promptly”, “always tracked first time and always moved to payable fairly quickly” and “really happy with how quick it became payable”.

Despite having a ‘bad’ overall rating, positive reviews left on Trustpilot commend Microsoft for their world-class support in replacing a faulty product within three days and the very helpful customer service received when someone contacted them about an issue with delivery.

Unlike other merchants, my experince with Microsoft is terrible, last 2 transactions didn't track and after 3 months it gets declined. Did everything by the book, still declined in the end.

i have made purchase back in 2017, microsoft only paid half of the cashback. I made another purchase yesterday, the cashback not tracked.

Despite clicking thru to buy a £1k laptop online they said my cashback didn't track. I had to phone Microsoft a few days later as they didn't bother to process my order over in Asia & I had to chase them. Despite raising a claim for cashback Microsoft declined it saying TCB wasn't the last referrer for the transaction. There were NO other referrer's. Poor service from Microsoft. Great laptop though

Tracked at £0 then confirmed at £0 - but cant lodge a claim as its more than 30 days ago even though it says it might track at a lower amount. Don't use for cashback!

My purchases never track so i always have to raise claims. Six months on i'm still waiting for two to show the correct amount and two to be confirmed.

They are unable to pay my cashback as they can't find my order despite providing my order number. Perhaps I should contact my credit card to have the transaction refunded if the order doesn't exist?

Cashback refused because they can't find my order despite giving them the order number from my receipt, not imprseed. Perhaps I should ask my credit card provider for a refund if they say the order doesn't exist?

I bought a Lumia 950 mobile in September 2016, due to the £42 cashback which was offered at the time. The purchase tracked, although the tracked cashback was only £10.89 instead of £42. I thought this was normal, as it states that cashback will uplift to the full amount at a later date. The uplift never happened, and a few months later the £10.89 amount went to payable. After contacting TCB support, it took over a year to try to find out why the cashback never uplifted. In February 2018 I was told that my transaction had been declined by MS, and that I would not receive the advertised £42 amount. No reason was given as to why it was declined, and TCB said there is nothing more than can do to get the cashback. Not satisfied with this answer, I contacted MS directly to try and resolve this. They refunded me the full £42 amount a few weeks later. I don’t know whether TCB or MS is at fault here, but it is clear that these generous cashback rates are rarely honored - look at some of the many other reviews who say the same thing. I’d advise anyone else that has had their MS cashback claim declined to go to the MS site store page, and contact someone via Live Chat to open a support ticket. It was quick and easy to do, and was the only way I would have gotten my cashback, as TCB was unwilling to help.

After buying 12 month xbox live gold subscription cashback did not track. When I submitted a missing cashback claim including order number, card number and exact time and date of purchase along with specific wording of confirmation email it was still refused saying there was no record of the transaction. I will be avoiding this dishonest retailer in future.

Cash back tracked but did not uplift to the 30pounds special offer. Customer service was also non existent when I had a problem with the product purchased. Avoid this merchant.

They decided to pay £4.40 on a £50 promotion for a specific laptop, and say they cannot track the purchase even after being provided with order numbers and proof of purchase emails. Still contesting but they seem to have made their mind up since December 2017

Often fails to track and when it does work it doesn't give the offered amount. Claims against them are very rairly successful and take over a year to complete. Very dissapointing!

Full cashback from the Microsoft Store has just been declined after 1 year. All for no valid reason, which is pathetic, bordering on false advertising. Very disappointed with this, and I certainly will not be buying anything from The Microsoft Store, ever again.
