Same as other reviewers. I have gained over £1200 in cashback over the years but have now had this declined from L&G saying Topcashback wasn't the last referral---I don't think so. Please be aware.

Waited the 6 months as requested only to be rejected as apparently topcashback were not the last referral screen used to complete the transaction. Wot a load of balls, how about sending some proof of why you have scammed £75 in cashback and conned me into an expensive £145 policy. I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing.

Waste of time, do not use this company! I ordered home & contents insurance in exactly the same way I do every other online transaction; it tracked for about 4 months then was declined for no reason. I submitted a claim, then couple of weeks later received a made up excuse about TopCashBack not being the last referer. Absolute rubbish, they clearly had no intention of paying from the start. I don't get why TopCashBack is advertising them as having a 99.28% satisfaction rating - of their 92 reviews more than three quarters of them are 2 stars or less! How does that give a satisfaction rating of 99.28%? Even some of the five star reviews are from reviewers trying to get their reviews seen, since TopCashBack hide the negative reviews as best they can by putting the positive ones first - they should be sorted by date with the most recent reviews first by default, like every other website does. As they regularly do not pay up, Legal and General should be removed from TopCashBack completely!

i brought my home insurance last year in September through cash back no transition recorded therefore i lodge a missing cashback . It took 6 months that cash back is confirmed on my account but before its change to payable its suddenly disappear from my account i report this to cashback but they says the company did not approve this for many reason that they dont know.i dont blame this to top cashback that company did not pay after its on confirmed status. i did not know why after 7 months waiting the cashback disappear from my account. very very sad.

Can't I give zero stars? If they refuse to pay, after I've provided all the account numbers, order time/date etc, and the policy is STILL IN PLACE, why would they refuse the cashback even after submitting a claim? Don't bother with them. Clowns.

4 months on and nowhere near seeing the cashback from this merchant. Have been informed it could be anything from another 4 weeks to 6 months before I am likely to see it. Not impressed.

Less than 1 star.. Cut a long story short. It tracks at 0.00 then it vanishes from your account. Claim submitted. L&G make excuses. Claim rejected and total amount payable 0.00. Should be banned from TCB. Typical insurance company. Quick to take your money. But don't expect any cash back.

Claim tracked but they declined saying I'd cancelled the policy, I still pay the policy and have proof! It's a scam, don't bother!

No idea what happened. I had a claim of £60, and the tracking said it was going to be reviewed by the merchant. Three days later the claim completely disappeared from my account, I have sent an email to tcb, and had no replies.

Unfortunately after a year they do not honour the cashback that initially tracked fine. Do not use this company! I will be cancelling my new policy.

Knowing Legal and General would not pay out for at least five months I submitted an early claim with topcashback as a precaution. This resulted in cashback being allocated to my account but unfortunately it was for a single policy payout and not the combined building and insurance that I purchased. I notified topcashback of the discepancy on 30 May 2014 and am still waiting for a resolution. It will be a year in November since I purchased this policy. I am not a happy customer.

Won my business by offering Cashback in August 2013, as would be cheapest AFTER cashback, but although showing confirmed still not paid out. Seems to be a complete con; surely should be some rule about making a deal look better by offering cashback but then not honoring it?

Tracked at zero for months and expected the £50.50 cashback but it never came. Once you are awaiting more than 200 days you can never get the cashback so you have to diarise to chase after 4 months if you haven't got it. Wait 7 months and its lost. Been with Topcashback many years and this is the only merchant to disappoint. Would not use again - insurance is only cheaper with the cashback else product too expensive.

Bought product in December 2013, failed to track, put "on ice" for 4 weeks sent 4 nudges to date but I'm still waiting for track today (03/06/2014) almost six months after purchase. Will think twice about using them in the future if this is an indication of their service.

I am completely disgusted with Legal and General over my cashback claim. I followed the steps as advised, it took them ages to respond. A year later and I had still not received my cashback. I then re-insure with Legal and General for a following year. Now 18 months later and Legal and General have refused my cashback.

18 months after taking out insurance with Legal & General and chasing up owed cashback I was eventually declined on the grounds that i'd apparently used a separate voucher or discount code. Is bizarre and a totally made up reason as certainly didn't use any other kind of code, didn't even know such things existed for insurance.

Don't expect your cashback to be payable within 6 months, or 3 months if you paid upfront. I purchased my combined policy in October 2013, and paid upfront, and topcashback have just informed me that payment won't be expected before July 2014!! That's 9 months, not the 3 months they advertised!!
