Like a lot of people on here I have marked as 5 stars so others can read it. Coming up to 9 months of my policy and still no cashback, tracked at £0.00 then vanished from my account. Topcashback have raised the issue with them after the 6 months cool off period, but still no cashback, and no updates for nearly 3 months. Only the cashback made my L&G policy cheaper than other company's. If cashback is not sorted out before the end of the policy I will be switching insurers.

Just worked, tracked at zero initially, waited four months as it said then another transaction appeared for the full amount, which became payable around five months from the date i made the buildings and contents insurance purchase, no problems for me.

TOOK OUT INSURANCE VIA TOPCASHBACK EXACTLY AS YOU WOULD NORMALLY, VERY GOOD RATE OF CASHBACK, TAKES SEVERAL MONTHS BEFORE YOU GET IT BUT ITS WORTH THE WAIT

I have just purchased home insurance through this link but After reading the reviews about declined cash-back I followed the link in my payment confirmation email and asked for confirmation that I qualified for the cash-back & M&S voucher, otherwise I would cancel my payment. They have now emailed me and confirmed that I will receive the cash-back as stated. Hope this is helpful and I have kept a copy of the email as proof if I have any problems. Will update my review after 4 months.

I purchased insurance in the middle of November, it has not tracked so I have just lodged a missing cashback claim. I will keep my fingers crossed that they pay out.

This worked for me. I gave only 4 stars as its a very long tracking time (and misleadingly tracks as £0 in the meantime), but the cashback came in exactly as advertised.

After reading so many bad reviews, I just felt the need to report that actually I just received my cashback for my L&G policy 8 months later (usually 6 months) but at least I received it! £30.30 was immediately payable for my policy which worked out to a really super deal for 1 year of insurance. So it isn't all bad news with L&G.

Great cashback amount, completely forgot about it, so only just withdrew 46 weeks after purchasing. Says 36 weeks in the detail, but can't be sure when exactly the amount became payable!

Took 7 months to get £60 cashback and had to go through the complaints procedure to get it. Never failed with Topcashback yet but do have to persevere sometime.

Bought in May and tracked as 0.00 cashback after a few days. Then I read these mostly negative comments. Bit annoyed with myself as the policy was only a few quid cheaper than the others. Still 0.00 in September, but then suddenly last week went to payable with the full amount of 50.50. Obviously a lot of people aren't getting paid but I can't complain now.

Bad experience with L&G I had to open a case to retrieve the cash back as it never came through. Got it now now only with the help of the efficient systems tcb have in place

Complete online transaction through to purchase tracked on time but six months later still waiting on the cashback with no good reason to withold= do not purchase this product for the cashback

Bought a home policy on November 28, 2013, yes 2013. Bought it due to what appeared to be the excellent cashback. Didn't appear initially as tracked, so I raised a ticket. Nothing much has happened since apart from a fairly regular "nudge" on my part. As the nudges didn't work, I assume L&G are comatose. I should have looked at the tracking stats first - average payment takes nearly 9 MONTHS!! I could have moved house in that period. Can't blame Topcashback, as they are dependant on the retailer's effeciency in processing claims. In this case, L&G place a higher priority on home insurance claims than cashback claims, or I hope they do. It would heklp if a higher profile were given to retailer's payment periods. L&G are certainly not on my "would use again" list. Bad experience for me.

Not happy, cashback declined by L&G although I met the criteria. Policy now cancelled and business taken elsewhere. Gave them the opportunity to sort it before I cancelled but they were unable to sort it.
