£164 cashback, but....
I have booked several trips through hotels.com, and they always track and pay you. no complaints. However, the prices are cheaper using the hotels.com app. and, interestingly, by the same amount as Topcashback's headline percentage. So, if you dont want the fuss of claiming cashback, check the app as well.

Took 6 years and they declined
I just had my cashback that has been pending since 2019 declined, no explanation as to why, but it taking 6 years in itself is disgusting

Cashback NEVER tracks
Altho Hotels.com are very good in their own right, they've stopped tracking any cashback for purchases with me. I have to constantly raise tickets for this, and even then they often come back with some flimsy excuse why they can;t pay out Won't be using Hotels again for a long time!

Cash back not paying correctly
It states cash back up to 11% for bookings after April 2025, my booking is April 2026 and I’ve only been issued 2%. I’ve opened a claim and TopCashback says it won’t be looked at for a year!!!! Are you kidding me!!??

Fastest pay out I've ever received!

Don’t bother
Rejected my claim which was 100% booked through TCB , will not use again. Paid in full up front , did not track , put on ice then rejected after my stay.

Black Friday 20% Scam
Usually this company are ok, yet suddenly when it was 20% Black Friday offer, they didn't pay my £50 commission and said had no knowledge of it. Shame on you!

Not as good as they were
Always use Hotels.com via Topcashback and never had any issues until recently. I now have rewards dating back 3 months that haven't been paid when in the beginning they would of been paid almost immediately after the stay. I'm starting to open disputes which is both annoying and time consuming. If they continue not to pay out I will start to book my work travel elsewhere especially since their own rewards scheme is now dreadful.

Does track, but DON'T use the Hotels.com app
I have booked repeatedly with Hotels.com in the last couple of years, and I have found that while it does track reliably through Topcashback, you MUST use the desktop browser, as it will not track through the app. Payout will come some time after you complete your stay.

Never tracks on mobile app and hotels.com always decline a dispute saying they can’t trace the order. Does however usually track on a desk top although don’t expect to receive the higher cashback rate

Not a good cashback option. As per other messages, always declines, disputes take months to resolve and when it does, you either dont get paid out or its for a fraction of the sum! Not worth it. if you just use Hotels.com better to go direct, even then , not a great deal to be had as other sites are cheaper for the same thing! Will be avoiding from now on.

Declines half the time
In the last 5 years, I've booked through Hotels.com 14 times. They have declined the cashback 7 times for no apparent reason. I continue to use them if their prices are better than other sites, but you have to expect not to get your cashback, so don't count that into the booking price.

Do not use
Declined my claim saying they couldn't trace my transaction despite all the proof otherwise. I should have booked directly through the hotel and got their points that way - don't make the same mistake I did - there are many many people in the same boat and despite TC trying to help, Hotels.com are just not interested in customer service.
