	Cashback declined despite purchasing insurance in one visit Cleared cookies, disabled all blockers, and started a fresh Google Chrome window. Took care to ensure I opened a new quote and ordered the insurance in one visit. The policy was set up, and I also received confirmation of their £250 excess cover. No cashback tracked. Submitted a claim. TCB response helpful, but after a 6+ month wait, GoCompare says no record of my order. So £0. I'm wondering if CoCompare would ever actually honour the excess cover now.

	Painful, but got there eventually. Cashback initially tracked correctly on TCB, but retailer later declined the payment after approx. 3 months. I submitted a claim but this was put on ice for a further 3 months as apparently the retailer will not accept claims within 6 months of purchase (despite them claiming to have already reviewed & declined the cashback). Claim was eventually agreed almost 3 months after that. i.e. almost 9 months after original purchase date, but it was still only at 'in progress' (meaning the retailer still had not actually agreed to pay it). Thank you TCB for (a) successfully pursuing the claim against the retailer, and (b) extraordinarily arranging for the cashback to become 'payable' despite the retailer still not having paid you yet.

	Took their Time but eventually Paid Made a claim in October 2025 and after chasing TopCashback, GOCOMPARE finally paid the £40 cash back in September 2026. Took their time but eventually paid up!!

	Doesn't track Used for car insurance and motorbike insurance on different occasions and neither tracked. My missing cashback claim was rejected for both. Used confused.com many times over the years and it always tracks and pays eventually no problem.

	3 months to pay? Easy to use site and £250 free excess cover lowers overall cost of insuring but why such a delay of 3 months after purchase?

	Cashback paid! Was a bit worried as 3 separate quotes appeared as "tracked" and never changed. Then suddenly, and before the estimated date, the correct one showed paid. Very happy

	Declined cashback - no communication Originally took out motor insurance policy, tracked as normal, then claim 'went on ice' via retailer. Nothing heard since, just closed the claim, appalling.

	Don't Bother I wouldn’t waste your time using TCB for this. They told me the policy number didn’t match, which feels like an excuse. After reading plenty of other reviews, it seems either Go.Compare pass the blame or TCB find reasons not to pay out.

	Brilliant customer service Bought my car insurance with Tesco using GO COMPARE via TOP CASHBACK. Fabulous experience from start to finish and just received £50 Cashback. What’s not to like? 5 stars all round.
