EDF Reviews

While some members who chose EDF to be their energy supplier have reported issues with their cashback, many members have left positive EDF Energy reviews, with some saying theirs was paid out faster than expected. Comments include “good cashback rate for switch over — two to three months to pay out” and “brilliant. Saved on dual fuel and cashback showed within five hours”.

Our members seem to love the company too. One said: “EDF have been very efficient and helpful in setting up my account and dealing with any queries or problems I have had.” Others praised the fact their site is easy to use and the switching process not confusing at all. EDF Energy review feedback includes “a very good service and an easy changeover” and “smooth transition from my previous supplier — kept me informed at every stage”.

Signed up two days ago and no sign of tracking. Not too hopeful given other's experiences. Loos like I might have to submit a manual claim

Didn't track after nearly a fortnight so have cancelled account. Also, not all the tarrifs of my current supplier appeared in the application process so it said I would have to pay £0 for gas. That would be nice! Had to phone to correct before awaiting the cashbach tracking which never appeared. Very disappointing.

Completely agree with Toonarmy! It's TOPCASHBACK that aren't giving us our cash!! EDF confirmed that I applied through this website, yet no transactions are resulting in my account. I've submitted a missing cashback claim. I've now switched my mother's account - we'll see if they show this transaction!

Just cancelled contract for the second time as no sign of tracking.Told girl I spoke to at EDF why! Said it had nothing to do with EDF it was the site we were doing it through!! In other words TOP CASHBACK!!!

I cleared cookies, deleted history and closed all browser sessions, restarted computer, tested tracking - and it still hasn't tracked since 31st July. They've probably also got more business by upping cashback from £40 -£60, which it looks like from all the comments people aren't regularly receiving.

Make sure that you close all browser sessions and clear all cookies or it won't track properly - which probably explains why so many are reporting as failing to track. I looked at uswitch just before applying and it did not track the EDF application that I did in the same browser session (an issue that I subsequently found is hi-lighted in TCB's help pages) . I had to cancel the contract with EDF and re-applied successfully using the above technique and it tracked overnight. Result!

Failed to track so cancelled contract. May try 1 more time. It seems when I try to claim high amounts of cashback they fail to track. Its only the lower amounts that seem to track ok.

Agree with a lot of the above comments. Tried this a 2nd time (after having to cancel the 1st) and still not tracked from friday 21st. Will give it one more go and if no joy on 3rd attempt will try another merchant on another site. ps- there seems to be an awful lot of tracking issues with this merchant.

I have tried this three times. And finally I have my application tracked on the 20th August. It only took a couple of hours I believe to track it when it was done properly. I have to cancelled the previews two applications.

my second order has not tracked yet. had to cancel as did not track.will give it till edf p/work comes thro door and cancel again if no sign of it. Totally agree with comments above regarding amount of orders not tracking. If i have to cancel again if off to quidco i go with another supplier.
