I did not realise that the cash back was on the sale excluding VAT. This would affect my decision to return to this retailer and use cash back. I could have bought from another source and generated more £ value in loyalty points!
The products are as expected boxed and as they are presents unopened until Christmas. Presume they are in working order.
However, the customer experience in the shop was woeful, almost 25 minutes to collect items previously reserved, passed between 3 members of staff and despite reserving the items, they had to disappear into the back to collect them from stock.
No eye contact, communication or semblance of customer service, just a mumble when they wanted my pin number for the machine.
In fairness it tracked quickly and although you have to mess about validating (remember to keep your receipt)compared to the experience of shopping online, don't waste your time going into the shop and be careful with the VAT reduction to expected cash back.
Topcashback good. Currys very poor.

This was easy to buy online but could only pick up in store, it would have been handy to be able to have it delivered. Good service though and product looks good although haven't tried it out as it is for a xmas present.

Ordered a TV back in August 2010 and still received no cashback despite submitting a claim over a year ago and 4 subsequent nudges. Won't be using Currys again for cashback.

Spent £699 in August on a laptop paid in full at time of purchase (no finance). Cashback tracked okay, provided details from receipt as requested. Stayed as pending for 3 months then cashback was turned to zero and declined. Now have had to submit a claim for missing cashback and will no doubt take months to get sorted. Not very impressed with this.

Totally rubbish cashback experience. Bought the fridge/freezer in January and, ten months and three nudges later, still no cashback. And the fridge/freezer is the worst I have ever had.

Bought a TV in store from Currys, while in a hurry. They couldn't give me a discount in lieu of cashback, so I did an online reserve and collect via topcashback from my smartphone whilst at the store. The Curry's website says to allow an hour, but the order came through in 5 minutes, and I had my TV in 10 minutes. The cashback tracked without any problems. The TV needed replacing because it had a dead pixel, but Curry's were very quick to change it.
