I agree with Brandy 72, I too took three life insurance policies out and after six months I was asked for reference numbers sent to me by email, I had deleted these and therefore could not supply them after a 18 months I have still not received any cashback and my transactions have disapearred after numerous nudges and messages sent to top cashback. AVOID confused.com and try to go directly to the insurer via top cashback. Its not often I admit defeat but in this case its just too Stressful

Please be aware of feedback on Confused.com's utilities cashback, saying they track the transaction very quickly at £0 but then fail to pay and cancel the cashback after the 100 day complaints window has closed, meaning you have no way of complaining. Do not have confidence in ever seeing this cash.

BE AWARE you will need a 16 digit number to get cashback. Tracked very quickly at £0.00, then when you raise a query with TCB because the cash is not updated to £70.00 you are asked for a 16 digit reference which you would have been given approx 6-7 months earlier (my case 9 months ago). Even though you are paying for your life insurance and you have you're policy reference number, you may still not get your cash. I am hoping TCB will be able to help me.

Please note, these policies must be live for a minimum of 6 months before cashback will be paid on valid policies. As the merchant approves and awards in batches, it may take a little longer before the cashback is reflected on your account. Cashback is only available on monthly premiums of £5 or more

Service is good with confused.Com have responded extremely quickly. Their staff have been friendly and polite. However Cash back unsure if I will get any, as not been up-date to the amount £70.00. Think I have to wait 6 months for this, so another 4 months to go. Will let you know if I get cash back or not!!!!!!!!

TO add to TCB comments, after you submit a claim to get your £70 cashback which has gone to £0.00. Your claim will be put 'On-Ice' whilst the merchant takes 6 months to validate it.

There is a 6 month validation on this programme, as mentioned on the retailer page.

Hi there, Looking at the comments on here, I feel that it is best to post a message to explain what is happening with this merchant’s programmes. There has been a recent change in the way this merchant will be reporting transactions. These will initially track at 0.00 and then when the merchant validates the transactions, these should be uplifted to indicate the correct cashback value for your transaction – typically this will be the Confirmed stage. These changes are now affecting our previous pending transactions, so our members will see their pending transactions with a value, changed to show 0.00 at the pending stage. Should your transaction reach the confirmed stage and has not uplifted , when the transaction is still valid, then please send us an enquiry ticket from within your account so we can try to advise you further. We would like to apologise to our members for any confusion that these changes have caused. Kind Regards. Top CashBack

Tracked within 24 hrs but at the lower amount of £65 as some others have commented. Have put in a manual claim for difference.
