I recently called out RAC from a very rural spot on a Saturday.He arrived in 30 mins and ga ve excellnt service.The price I paid was very competitive.Don't know how to spend my cashback yet but no doubt I'll find out in time.

The date of payment is over 4 months from the date of the transaction. This seems an exceptionally long period of time.

Still waiting for the cash owing to me since purchasing RAC breakdown services in December last year, despite several "nudges" and direct communication with RAC, to which they replied by putting the onus back onto Topcashback!
From my experience, this "offer" is misleading and unfair. I notice that many other reviewers have had similar problems.

Do not count on receiving cashback, it seems the TOP cashbacks are just never paid. Bought breakdown cover for two household cars in December and haven't received any cashback, no acknowledgement, nothing. Whilst I have raised with TC nothing is forthcoming.

Tracked day after purchase of breakdown cover and payable almost two months before estimated date, so well done RAC! A far more satisfying cashback experience than that from the AA, who definitely won't be benefitting from my custom again.

Cashback still not received (or even acknowledged) after 12 weeks.
Having not heard anything at all regarding my cashback (which was the main reason I applied) I submitted a claim via topcashback. Despite a "nudge" several week after my purchase I have heard nothing.
I now see there is a note on TCB's website saying that RAC do not pay cashback for options which qualify for "at home" cover free of charge - I am convinced that this was not mentioned on RAC's website when I purchased the policy in November. The free at home cover is fine (if that's what you want), but I wanted the cashback instead.
After similar difficulties with More Th>n Insurance / TCB last year I'm begining to wonder whether this way of buying is worth it - you certainly earn the money yourself with all the effort and chasing.

NOV 11th joined cash back for RACbreakdown road side assistance RAC have
NOT PAID THE £23 THEY OWE they exspect continuous annual payment but for this we shall see if it was all a con just to get you to join

I got £23 on cashback, bringing the cost of normal cover to only £5 for a year! Unfortunately, it didn't show up on my cashback page, but after raising an enquiry, Top Cashback chased up RAC and a month or so later, the money appeared in my account!
