TopCashback members who have written a review of their experience have given Marriott Hotels an overall rating of three stars. Some of the positives mentioned include the fact they offer a good choice of great hotels and the excellent service provided by staff, with one customer saying they “would recommend this hotel chain to anyone, anywhere in the world”.

Some of the feedback left also makes reference to the fact that the menber's cashback tracked immediately or was paid out swiftly, with one person saying it was the “fastest payout I have ever had. Paid within days”.

Marriott.co.uk also has a three-star rating on Trustpilot, with the four and five-star feedback highlighting the fact the hotel the customer stayed in was in a great location or the staff were very friendly, with one reviewer impressed with the fact that a lady on the phone had spent an hour helping them to book their dream trip to Australia. One regular Marriott customer, meanwhile, describes how they receive a “really great service every time”.

Very poor tracking. Even though booking directly through Marriott, it's now February 2016 and stays in June 2015 still not tracked correctly. I'd go through a third party agent next time.

Consistently fails to track and cashback is often declined. I've booked Marriott hotels dozens of times through TopCashback and it's very rare for Marriott to pay the cashback automatically. More often than not they decline. Don't count on getting your cashback and at best expect to have to go through the admin of raising a claim to get what you're owed.

Do not factor in the cashback for booking a marriott hotel if you can find it cheaper elsewhere because more than likely you will not receive the cashback. Its a shame when a big organisation cannot honour its promises and it says a lot about the way that certain company is managed and run. Will be booking other hotel chains in future.

Do not, I repeat do not bank on any cash back from this merchant. Two purchases and two major problems. They seem to create their own rules. If TCB cannot manage this properly then remove it to stop them generating false revenue and claims.

Marriott would NOT pay out the cashback as promised. I chased via topcashback- it took over a year for Marriott to confirm that despite the fact I had booked, paid for and completed my stay at their hotel, they would not pay the cashback- no reason was given. Rubbish!

Just outright refused to pay cashback without providing any reason for rejecting. As a result i have lost out on £10 which would have meant me booking through a rival service if i had known.

DON'T EXPECT TO RECEIVE CASHBACK. From my experience, and having read the reviews of Marriott left by other cashback members, cashback is unlikely to be forthcoming. I booked my stay through topcashback only but Marriott claim that 'Another marketing channel was credited with the sale'. Evidently there is an opportunity for somebody to be making a great deal of money out of these refused claims. This leaves a bad taste in the mouth and is, frankly, negative marketing. I will certainly be thinking twice about staying at a Marriott in future. They should think carefully about making an offer that they can't keep especially as it is the last thing that will be remembered about the 'Marriott Experience' As I recall my stay at on of their hotels was pleasant enough but, unfortunately, it has been sullied by their shabby marketing.

Like many other reviews - it appears Marriott really doesn't want to reward you with visiting their hotels and giving you cashback - come on marriott you can do better than this!

The tracking statistics provided by TCB are incredible. I am a regular booker with Marriott and always use TCB but over 50% of my transactions fail to track properly or ar declined by Marriott. DO NOT COUNT ON MARRIOTT PAYING CASHBACK. THEY ARE ONE OF THE LEAST RELIABLE MERCHANTS ON TCB.

Cash back registered £0, applied missing cash back claim and was finally told I used another site and wouldn't pay cashback. Totally disappointed for a major company. I only use this site and I wouldn't claim if I wasn't entitled to it. Be careful as you may not get the cashback.

I think in terms of cashback this is a bit of a con. I went to a wedding at a Marriot hotel and went through the cashback page. It was never paid, despite the best efforts of topcashback. The hotel was okay but nothing special. As a result I wouldn't go to a Marriot hotel out of choice.

Nine months later and still no cash back. Provided all the information they (Marriott) requested and still not received. Much prefer Handpicked Hotels, in the Uk - no cash back but better hotels.

Order tracked at zero, but once my stay was completed, it also became payable at zero. I also wasn't impressed by their so called 5 star accommodation/service in the US - they couldn't even be bothered to replace the soap in the bathroom, so I had to use shampoo for shower gel to wash my hands! Nice hotel!

Don't bother. They just don't pay - I've had 3 payments waiting months and nothing. The lastest feedback from topcashback is "the retailer is steadfast in declining all of our submissions that they receive from us with regards to this transaction". It was a valid transaction - Marriott are a rip off.

Almost the first year anniversary of paying for a room at marriott. It tracks but the retailer never pays out. One of many ways the company is rather deceptive in its pricing and promotions!

Useless - the transaction tracked and showed an amount, but when it came to payable it was set to £0.00. There was no reason for this, my claim qualified in every way I could see. Had no success with a manual claim either.

I have spent over £500 on Marriott hotels through this site. No cashback received. No reasons given. Not even the courtesy of a response in SIX months. Very poor. BE WARNED - SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE

Complete waste of time. Despite booking via the Topcashback link, my purchase never showed in my account. Filed a claim. Nothing. My advice don't book with Marriott if you're expecting cashback.
