Like others on here, I too have been subject to cashback amount becoming £0.00 when made payeble.
Have not submitted claim as I've waited so long for the claim to become payable, when it finally did, only disappointment to be had, not the £40 expected!! Poor show TCB.
Would not recommend LV

Cashback denied.
Pretty annoying, they were offering £45 cashback last september, it tracked to £20 fairly quickly, and the following £25 was after a 90 day validation period.
The amount then changed to "0", and i just received a mail from topcashback saying that LV had denied the claim.
Very frustrating, as the cashback was the additional incentive to use these guys... They weren't the cheapest.
I will resubmit the claim, but i see the amount is down to £10 now?

Like others I have been waiting weeks for the cashback! Took a polict out in November 2010 and the cashback is still NOT paid at the end of March 2011 (4 months) ... If you can wait then fine but there is always a chance the cashback might not even be approved and you're then big time out of pocket. Might be worth while picking an insurance policy that is slightly cheaper with NO cashback ! Lesson learnt !!!!!

Its been 4 months since I took out my car insurance policy Still no cashback.
I think it's unfair to advertise any cashback if they are not prepared to follow this through. Buy your policy with LV if its competitive and suits your needs, but don't purchase for the cashback.

I tried to purchase insurance for my friend from LV through tcb right at the end of the process their system failed so my friend had to phone them up and buy it over the phone .She pointed out they should give her the cashback discount as now she was not going through tcb she would be £20 worse off,they declined so i put in a missing claim through tcb,they thought i wouldnt get it but it was worth a try. Yippee! i've just been paid out thanks again tcb for all your help

AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! like many other members tracked for 3 months at £20, then when it came to be paid went down to a big fat ZERO!
Won't be using LV for anything again and Topcash back should sever links with them as they are misleading us, the members.

I purchased car insurance in October. It tracked at £20 until now (Feb) and has now dropped down to zero!! I have had to submit a claim (which has been awkward as it is now over 100 days old) but don't know how successful this will be! I did originally save the quote through a comparrison website as it was cheaper. After reading other reviews this may be the reason but this should be clear before buying!! Would not recommend.

Seems I am another victim of my cashback payment being changed to zero at the time it should have become available. Admittedly I did use comparison sites and direct quotations before discovering cashback was available. So don't bother trying to get cashback if you've visited LV prior to clicking through TopCashback.

Bought LV car insurance in September and noted cash-back had been payable for some time but not sure how to get money until I read that LV only paid out via bacs system. Once I had given my bank a/c details to top cashback and requested payment, the £20 was transferred to my account within a week.
So I can't complain - especially since the insurance was very competitive anyway!

WILL KEEP THIS SHORT AS A WARNING TO ALL. SIMPLY PUT, YOU WILL NOT GET YOUR CASHBACK. AS OTHERS HAVE EXPERIENCED, MINE TRACKED AT £20 UNTIL IT BECAME PAYABLE AND IT WENT DOWN TO ZERO EVEN THOUGH EVERYTHING WAS LEGITIMATE AND MY POLICY WAS IN PLACE. TOPCASHBACK HAVE BEEN USELESS AT CHASING UP THIS ISSUE FOR ME. HAVE HEARD NOTHING.
