Too many incidents of missing cash back claims: have had to lodge a number of claims against this merchant the last of which has just been declined. I have another outstanding from last year. I always make sure to go back to the TCB website before completing a transaction and am really disappointed with the problems that keep arising.

This is now the second time in 2 years that Hotels.com won't pay my cashback. The first time i had to chase for a year before they finally rejected the claim without justification. The second time I've now been chasing for over a year, and they still haven't paid up... It seems they only pay me cashback on my cheaper bookings, but never pay up when i make expensive bookings! Scoundrels!

Do not bother booking via the mobile app or via a mobile device to get the off of greater cashback. Mine was declined despite downloading the app and booking on my mobile specifically for this purpose. The claim was declined as it was associated wth another referrer, which was impossible as it was the only time i had ever used my mobile device for such a purpose. It's a shame as it would have worked online. The site itself is great and bargain to be had, but don't expect cashback to be honoured from a mobile device.
