Tracking issue with some orders but resolved (after 3+ months wait)
I initially posted a 2-star review (9th Jan 2025): "We placed 7 separate orders on Black Friday weekend. 3 orders tracked. 4 orders haven't tracked. Claims submitted over a month ago but still no update. I use TopCashBack a lot and don't get this issue with other retailers - BuyAGift clearly has some sort of technical issue. A few friends have had the same issue too with BuyAGift. Such ashame."
Update (13th March 2025): The cashback claims have finally been processed and we've now been allocated cashback for all orders. Review updated to 4-stars (still disappointed that it took 3+ months for any update).

Problems with tracking

I use TopCashBack a lot and don't get this issue with other retailers - BuyAGift clearly has some sort of technical issue.
A few friends have had the same issue too with BuyAGift.
Such ashame.

First time not tracked
I’ve purchased buy a gift experiences through TCB for years now and this was the first year it didn’t track. Raised a missing claim and now waiting to see if it’s accepted. Having read the reviews I’m not sure if it will be successful.

They don't pay - avoid
Cashback doesn't track. Two purchases now from this retailer. Neither tracked automatically. First declined last year for no reason. Second still with TCB team for chasing up but not holding out much hope. It's a shame that a big company like this advertises one thing but fails to deliver.

Refused cashback for no reason, and TCB don't want to help, and this is what their Premium service gets me....nothing
No reason given....seems to be a common issue with this retailer....avoid

Didn’t log
Didn’t log it and they claimed I used a voucher code when I did not so would not pay.
When I tried to use the voucher it then adds extra on every single date which I did not realise meaning the tickets were incredibly expensive and way more expensive than buying direct and weren’t even premium days just normal weekdays off peak

False score
Please don't review this company until you are actually PAID the cashback, There are people that have given the company 5 stars because its showing as tracking in their account. Beware though I had 3 different orders from 2021 that were showing as tracking, then in February 2024 they were suddenly declined. I can see some people will be going back to change their rating at a later date, if they remember when declined.

Easy to get the cashback
Cashback came as expected within 12 weeks and was for a large purchase so was slightly anxious but no need, turned up within the times stated to be delivered.

Spent £62 on buy a gift via top cashback in Jan 22. Just been told in Feb 24 that £11 cashback was declined. 2 YEARS! Probably can’t find the purchase after this length of Time. Wonder how many people get conned to. Hopefully our friends enjoyed the present unless that got declined to!!
