Pathfinder Guide Dog Programme

Pathfinder Guide Dog Programme is a UK registered charity set up in 2003. We raise and train German Shepherd dogs as guides for blind people. Did you know that German Shepherd dogs were the first dogs used for guiding work in the UK? Although we cover all the costs for our dogs throughout their lifetime, their first 2 1/2 years or so from birth to them qualifying as a working guide costs around £36,000. Pathfinder Dogs will also reintroduce centre based training for all our clients as this is no longer available in the UK. Pilgrim Hearts Trust

We are the Pilgrim Hearts Trust. We give training and motivation to the homeless so they have a much better chance to find a job and a home.
