Mediocre offer - £10 cashback to spend £12 for 84 days of subscription sounds good prima facie... but if cancelled within 90 days: no cashback - though after 84 days £53 (at least) will be automatically taken from you (that is £4.42 per issue - in my opinion, not good value at all). It is worth reading a bit about the publication and how it very consistently approaches issues, prior to subscribing (obviously!). If subscribing to ‘the dentist’ magazine, expectations would be clear. By calling a publication a ‘newspaper’, the fact that it is the ‘trade magazine’ for one (though of course the dominant) branch of economics, is masked.
