Talktalk took a month to sort out the connection of a land iine and broad band. The service is intermittent. I have had to put in a claim for cash back, and three months on (since I subscribed) I am still waiting. A few people manage to get cash back quickly but looking at the reviews the experience the majority of people have is appalling.Top cash back what exactly are you doing to sort out the cash back problems people have with talktalk?

Waste of time. Declined cash back before the service even began for no reason at all. Thankfully I am free to go elsewhere as there is a cooling off period. Stay away

Bad experience. No CB received. As usual, TCB customer service was completely weedy when it came to standing up for the customer.

Awful. Just awful. Only got £42 cashback instead of £80. Broadband also was not functional for 3 weeks. Major inconvenience. Customer service is abysmal. So much time wasted on the phone before they finally agreed to send an engineer to replace the router, which was the problem all along! My advice is AVOID.

When I signed up they were offering £65 I now have £42 in Confirmed. Have lodged a claim with TCB and will see what happens. Talktalk had the best deal at the time, free installation and lower monthly payments so I would still have gone for it. The install was very good and I have been pleased with the quality of the service so far.

Payable 2 months after being connected to Talktalk. Talktalk service hassle free and all good. The cashback has probably covered 6 months worth of bills!

Incorrect Cashback provided, poor communications between topcashback and TalkTalk, Im still waiting for correct cashback after many months and multiple messages to both company's. Very disappointed.

Not recommended at all. Avoid at all costs! Switchover process and telephone was fine but their technical support line is hopeless. As soon as my broadband was switched my line speed dropped from about 6 Mbps to under 1 Mbps. At first I was told that this was due to the 10 day optimisation process. After the 10 days and several phone calls I requested an engineers visit and a talk talk bright sparks engineer was duly sent who could not find a fault and said that there was nothing he could do due to the type of line and thus escalated it to bt to pursue. Another week later the bt engineer checked and confirmed that there was no fault at my house or in the line and duly contacted the exchange to investigate further. Maybe you can imagine my reaction when told by the exchange that reason for the slow line speed was due to the restriction placed on it by talk talk! Talk talk then confirmed that they would lift the restriction. This took a further 3 days to happen. However this only marginally improved my speed to around 1.5 Mbps. They cannot seem to be able to fix the problem and I am now waiting for another engineer to be sent out to investigate the problem and so on..........

After a nudge, it was tracked and paid all within 2 months. Thanks to TCB, saved me a lot of money. The switch over service with Talktalk broadband and phone was excellent, I was given a start date, the change was smooth.

Firstly cashback tracked at lower price £25 should have been £160. Internet has gone live but i have no router will not be delivered until 5 days later and said on web site 3 days before go live date. Look like the You view box will be here before router. not happy

Oh dear. After 6 weeks, 5 separate orders and 21 telephone calls, I managed to get Broadband and Telephone yesterday. This only happened after I contacted the CEO of TalkTalk. In the end I have sacrificed all cash back and am left wondering why I bothered. Avoid.

A large amount of cash back is advertised on this site but you only receive a fraction of this. The broadband is very slow and sometimes intermittent as it keeps disconnecting and no service at all during some peak times. I get lots of sales calls from talk talk. Very poor service and misleading, can't wait until my 12 months is up!

5* all the way! Signed up because the price was VASTLY cheaper than I have been paying to BT. Immediately was told by Talktalk about the switchover date which was only 2 weeks away. I didn't have to do anything at all, the switch happened all by itself on the date I was told, phone line went off for 10 minutes - hardly noticable - and now I have broadband and phone exactly as before but for a quarter of the cost! Cashback at the amount stated showed as tracked in no time and I have no doubt it will move to payable as promised. Cannot fault Talktalk (which is more then I can say for the awful BT) and would highly recommend them to sll..... and thanks to TCB for the cashback!!

Moved my neighbour out of their bt contract free even only 2 months into an 18 month contract due to being charged for a paper bill. Unknowingly I used topcashback so I saved them money so they are happy and I'm happy 2 weeks later with 70 quid cashback

Cashback was supposed to be £70.70 for a Talk Talk Essential purchase but my cashback tracked at only £40.40 & after setting up a cashback claim 2 months ago I'm still none the wiser. Talk Talk reduced their cashback amount a few days after I signed up but I now see that they have increased it again. Also, when I signed up I was forced to take a new line with a new number. They claimed that my telephone line from Sky was not compatible but after speaking with the BT engineer who swapped over the line I now know that this was not the case. Just seems to me like they couldn't be bothered with the hassle of contacting Sky to transfer my details across, I guess it was easier for them to just set me up as a new customer. With the monthly cost (if I get all my cashback) of around £7 for broadband & phone you don't expect perfection but after my 12 months is up I will definitely be leaving Talk Talk to most likely go back to Sky as they were much better, with faster speeds, good customer service, sky rewards, free use of The Cloud network etc.
