The service was as promised, but the cash back amount wasn't honoured
The car rental process went smoothly, hence the 2 stars.
However it was a £297 car rental and there should have been 20% and £58.
Topcashback sent me a message to inform me the cashback was wrong and suggested I raise a claim. When I checked, the cashback was only £6.10 or about 2%. I did raise a claim, but the car rental company said "no, it's the correct amount". And that was that! I didn't take a screen shot for evidence, and I didn't have the energy to continue to fight for the correct amount.
I've just booked car hire for another holiday, and of course I chose a different company from this site.

Scam
Definitely a scam when it comes to the cashback. Think they put high returns to get the car sales (the hire went smoothly) but when it comes to approving the cashback, they don't. First said I hadn't booked with them, then gave proof then they said top cashback wasn't the referer when It was the only website I was on before going onto the car hire sooo.... Yeah don't bother if you're taking the cashback into your final price consideration.

Awful, don't bother!
Have purchased twice with this retailer, both times cashback declined. Followed all steps and processes correctly to ensure it went through. I wont be using them again!

Like all previous reviews, you will never get 20% cashback. I did a few transactions with them, £30 and £20 cashback declined, got a £5 for a £285 rental. Avoid

Like every other review here, I used them and didn’t receive a payout. Amazed Top Cashback allow them to keep advertising

Avoid feels like a scam
advertised at 21% so should have received just under £30... i ended up receiving £3.93 what a joke.

AVOID!! Don't payout
Booked car hire through TCB as with the cashback it would've worked out around £20 cheaper than booking direct. Big mistake. Cashback expected was £70+ and was declined -despite it being a genuine

20% tracked then they switched and paid 1% - avoid
All tracked as normal at 20% then when it came to the payment date they switched the rate down to 1% with no warning. Would not recommend if expecting cashback.

Shocking
I only went with this company die to the cash back when hiring a car abroad. They were not the cheapest or the best reviews, but gave it a go due to the level of cash back, that I had factored into the holiday budget. The car rental company were very efficient in the hire of the car, but then the cash back was rejected. I queried this with Topcashback and basically I am not having it and there is nothing they can do now.
Makes me think twice about using Topcashback, what they are advertising they do, they do not fulfil basically.......just a warning.

Why my cashback amount is zero and changed to payable without resolution?
I have made a purchase through Topcashback to rent the car in the Stress Free Car Rental website and completed the online transaction with full amount paid. However I got the transaction tracked in Topcashback with zero amount which even became payable status without good reason. The cashback amount is relatively substantial. If I got zero, will never go for this retailer to rent my car.
I have lodged a claim but seems I need to wait for ages to expect any feedback. Really a worst experience to this retailer
