Have used Stena a dozen times atleast in the last few years and have been happy overall. Transactions always track and are confirmed quickly but payout has been slow in the past, although my last two payout times have vastly improved and I'm now satisfied. Anyone using them more than once have to join their Loyalty scheme as it's free and any points earned can be redeemed on the next trip which is always a bonus. Although their prices similar to Irish Ferries they beat them hands down on the money redeemed on the loyalty scheme and the cashback.

Very good value "DutchFlyer" Rail and Sail tickets. Good level of cashback. The Stena Line website is not that well designed though but stick with it - lots of screens to go through before you can finally put into your credit card details!

Just sailed Stena Line Harwich to Hook of Holland and back a couple of days later. Really great new ships, cabins are superb, very hard to find fault with anything.

Recieved cashback for Northern Ireland crossing even though says its only for channel crossings. Also when our boat was cancelled due to urgent repair work they gave us a 30% off voucher for another trip

I have had cashback on all ireland crossings (holyhead, fishguard, stanraer) and hoek van holland. also cashback on hotel combinations. if you become a member of their loyalty scheme for free you can get points worth 5-15% of your spend on top of cashback. stena's customer service is excellent. my preferred ferry company. however, check out eurostar as an alternative for trips to belgium / holland / france / germany as well for some decent cashback and a good loyalty scheme.
