I met all Ts&Cs but my cashback was declined 8 months later
I am really surprised by all the positive reviews. Actually, these good reviews were the reason I signed up for a cash ISA with Scottish Friendly as everybody was singing praise of them. I opened my ISA 8 months ago and I met all their Ts&Cs. Shockingly, they declined my cashback after 8 months without giving a reason. I submitted a missing cashback claim but I am not holding my breath. Topcashback are good in their support but I know they can only resubmit my claim and can do nothing more. The investment did not make any money, which I understand due to the current financial situation, but Scottish Friendly add insult to injury by charging £50 for withdrawing money despite the fact that they have not held their side of the bargain. Now, I am stuck between a rock and a hard place. Keep this in mind before you invest with them.

Didn't pay £250 cashback after I'd been investing for a year. Wish I hadn't wasted my time. Had to chase up as well. Very disappointed

Was declined by the retailer despite paying in for over 6 months. My ISA has actually lost money so it's been a lose lose situation.

Cash back tracked at a lower amount than advertised and then declined! I’m still paying into it but plan to stop and will never use them again.

Poor! Took an investment and still paying into it. However after weeks of waiting, only to get an outcome of cashback rejected because the value is not the stated amount. I would love to know that whether most of the positive reviews have actually received the cashback or just as “pending” and declined at a later stage. I am so very disappointed. Just bear in mind that the £100s cashback may not be available even you took a plan.

I wouldn’t invest with this company again, I done 2 15 years policies with them and it took me two months to get my money back from the first one, now I’m getting the same with the second, I’m disgusted with them

Have taken savings with this firm. Just noticed 52 WEEK WAIT FOR CASHBACK. This is rediculouslong time to wait .put you off gping with them

took out 2 x junior isas the promise was a £50 on them after a certain time, thye paid on one not the other. i challenged this and staff told me it would be paid soon. months later i enquired again. I was told it wasn't getting paid. i challenged this and asked why i was told different stories . they wouldnt give me a transcript of the calls they reviewed or a copy of the phonecalls . i had another policy and they have failed to pay the money on this one.To cancel is a £50 charge shocking customer service

Payout took over 10 months which was very disappointing, expected 2/3 months. Returns from my fund setup have been around 2% but no fees deducted yet.

I followed the instructions but my cashback got declined with no way of raising a claim. I had to fight with them to give me my first month's deposit back without them taking their £50 early exit fee. AVOID!!!!

I've made 10 x £100 monthly payments and I've still not received my cashback. If they want to keep you as a long term investor they should pay earlier in my opinion.

I took out an ISA with Scottish Friendly in March 2019 and I'm still waiting for my cash back. I met the criteria for cash back in October but it's still sat on "confirmed". I wrote to Scottish Friendly and the letter I got back couldn't have been less helpful. Clearly they are hoping people will give up and stop paying into their ISA so they don't have to pay up.

Over 7 months waiting for cashback now :( whilst I don't mind saving in the isa every month, if you're going to up sell it via cashback, you've got to keep your word regarding payout times. **** Update **** Nearly 12 months waiting now. If you are looking at this i'd consider going to someone else for an ISA if you want cashback latched on. Really thought it'd have landed by now but maybe it's waiting for the election result
