20/04/09. Just taken out RAC recovery for £34.50, single, When I checked on the Earnings by retailer,I will get £21 cash back on June 30!! If you decide to join, just remember to 'tick' the continuous payment box. You need to do this to join 'on-line', and you get 28 days notice from RAC to either carry on your membership,or opt out at the end of the year.I omitted to 'tick' the continuous and failed to join!! Be warned!! and good luck!!

Although I have been sent my membership card, I am still unsure whether I am in fact a member or not since RAC seem to have been unable to take the payment from my credit card. Since there is nothing wrong with my credit card, I can only conclude that RAC's collection is the problem. I don't know how this will affect the discount as I have had to call them on a premium rate number to re-confirm my card details. Benefit of the doubt...
