I do not rate the offer of spending nearly £500 for our car insurance with the offer of approximately £70 cashback. After waiting months for the cashback I was told I would only get £27.50 and get the rest when we renewed our insurance. If ever there was a deception this was it. I am disgusted that this can be allowed and hope you give this feedback from honest and hardworking people. Pauline Smith

Didn't track, had to make a claim. Original cashback amount was 70 went down to 65 when I made the claim and eventually only paid 25 Don't believe the cashback amounts

very poor, after taking out the policy, no cashback appeared in my account. followed the procedure to lodge a claim and after 3 months £65 was confirmed in my account. This has now been made payable, but reduced to £25, with the proviso that the remaining £40 will be redeemed on renewal. This was not made clear when taking out the policy, not a happy customer.

Website would not let only policy holder have business use, had to be me and named driver, when I called helpline quote jumped 400%!!! Same underwriter with Swinton insurAnce did not do this, Rac customer services not prepared to query it!

Do not get caught up - find a better deal elsewhere, I have purchased my car insuranc through this link and promised a cash back of £68. I went with deal as it was cheaper than the other provider because of the cash back amount. However, they refused to pay me the cash back for no reason given. I have provided all the information as well as written to customer care but no cash back has been paid. They can clearly see that I have visited a site through cash back and I was a new customer and also I have purchased my insurance from RAC. This is a trap to get customer and they later refuse to pay. Very dissapointed and it is retreat that RAC is a reputed company but still doing this type of unethical trading. I will be updating this on other review sites soon including trust pilot etc.

Cashback was declined, I notified Topcashback of the missing claim. After waiting RAC came responded with ''Policy is illegitimate'' - rather frustrating when I drive the car every day insured by them..... If I have a crash am I covered!? NO REPLY yet! They have had in excess off £400 from me, but don't want to keep their word, the missing claim continues!!
