Went through cashback with LV in April 08. Stayed in pending for weeks and then they knocked the £45 cashback to nil. Got in touch with the cashback site who said leave it with them they would refer to LV. Now 6 months later cashback havnt sorted things out but advised me to go through the details again. No thanks cashback, Ive wasted enough time on a retailer who doesnt deliver what it promises. But I have learnt never to renew my insurances with LV in the future'''

Agree completely with Mike Jeep.
LV tracked within an hour of buying the car insurance policy today.
The cashback from last year's More Th>n car insurance never did track. Not done via TCB but a rival cashback site and sadly said rival site has been less than interested in pursuing it for me!

Very impressed with LV very rapid tracking = one or two days.
Very unimpressed with moreth>n car insurance = still not showing as tracked since 29/09/08 - tcb have had to chase up for me.

The amount represented almost 30% of the cost of the policy which I was delighted with.

Not used cash-back sites before.
After making a small purchase with Waterstones to "test the waters", (which so far hasn't tracked!), I was a little nervous about relying on a large cash-back transaction.
However, as LVE's quote was reasonably competitive anyway [car insurance], gave it a go.
Pleased to say that the cash-back appeared the following day (pending).
If the rest of the process is as smooth, I will be a VERY happy cash-back convert!
