“Brilliant network, can’t fault in any way and would definitely recommend this network to everyone and anyone” is what one happy TopCashback member said after buying from giffgaff through us. If you have a look at the other giffgaff review feedback below, you will find plenty of similarly positive remarks too.

Some of the other feedback left by our members includes “great company — best tariffs for my needs”, “the best phone network. Value for money” and “thank you, a network you can rely on, wherever you are. Always a good signal — also fantastic tariff for goodybags”. While it is true some members have reported issues regarding cashback in their giffgaff reviews, others have clearly had no problems at all. Some of the feedback left includes “give it a whirl — super quick payout”, “all straightforward and simple” and “good cashback service”.

Spent £579 on a handset with giffgaff, did everything required on a £45 SIM activation offer but only ever got £5 with no explanation, TCB generally useless in their replies. Still waiting after 10 months

False claim: offered £12 for activation and £10 top-up - got nothing (except 50p for sim).

Exactly the same problem/issue as @cmontgomeryburns - "The 50p for ordering the sim tracked staright away - but when I came to activate it, the offer was £12 at the time. When I clicked through from tcb it just repeated the 50p for a new sim. I had to go to the giffgaff home page from there to activate, and of course it didn't track. "

Absolutely terrible. I received the money only to be told I can not cash it out, although it says it's been payed.

tracked my sim order, but not the activation, and it's going to take "at least 4 weeks, possibly months" to process my missing cashback claim. pretty poor, I've had claims resolved in 2 days in the past.

Ordered a new Sim, the 50p offer for new sim was processed immediately. However, the second part of the deal which was £4.50 upon a newly activated sim has still not been processed. I raised a claim with TCB who have done what they can, but stated that it can take weeks or months for GiffGaff to reach a decision.

GiffGaff have been nothing but problems for myself. They have no contact telephone number for support and the email to staff seem to be inadequate at resolving matters. I think you can do better elsewhere.

Giffgaff have just had their second major service incident in a year. The first incident resulted in total loss of service for all customers lasting about 24hrs. The second one in the last few days resulted in recurring 'Goodybags' being debited from customers' bank accounts but not being applied to their Giffgaff balance so many customers again found they had no service because their balances were left at zero or their positive balances quickly were used up and left at zero because the internet they were using was not being covered by the failed automatic payment. This simply isn't good enough and Giffgaff cannot be relied on to provide an uninterrupted service. Will now be changing to a reliable provider.

Ordered sim on 13/07/12. Received it today and still not tracked. Is it worth putting £10 on to activate it for that not to track as well. Think I'll stick with my Virgin 8p plan.

First sim card ordered did track, but activation never, claim submitted. Second sim ordered hasn't even tracked, and you cant submit a claim. Not happy!

does not upgrade months after activated sim, not even £1 confirmed yet

You get 50p not £5. To get £5 you need to order a SIM from an existing member. then if you top up by £10 you'll £5 as additional credit, NOT as cashback. You do NOT get this additional £5 credit with the SIM your receive from the TCB link. Giff Gaff customer service is all via the web - there is nobody to talk to. Once you get over this shock, it's a good network - very cheap, efficient, friendly. And you can earn additional credit by contributing to the Giff Gaff Community via the forums.
