I have made two reserve and collect purchases from Currys and on both occasions, the goods were damaged (mixers - open boxes) or not available (iPod - colour not available) when I got to the stores. I had to take the unsatisfactory goods as they were. Even so and on both (separate) occasions the cashback seemed to be tracked okay and then for no reason went from 'confirmed' to zero payable. I am still chasing these even though they happened in 2008 (on principle - not really worth it for the £8 or so due to me). I shall not buy from Currys again until they pay up - and I am getting doubtful that will be any time soon, if ever.

It took several attempts and much help from the TCB help staff before Currys finally credited my account with cashback from a reserve and collect laptop purchase. At one point it was pending and then cancelled without any explanation.
