Currys sat on the cashback for a year (I queried after a week), purchase amount £512, cashback due £30, and after a year they decided that it couldn't be specifically proved that I had come through topcashback so declined payment. Don't bother, buy elsewhere and actually get the cashback rather than use these scammers.

Tried to order and reserve a tv, insurance claim, and no store from trowbridge to cardiff to southampton salisbury or chippenham and bristol had the tv i wanted in stock. Total waste of time.

This is the second time I've bought a product from Currys and the second time no cashback. Yet another claim on its way. Find another electrical retailer to buy from - if there're any left!

Had a very bad experience with online shopping. Very appalling service and their ordering system is based on assumptions - not something that I expected from such a big retailer. I decided to reserve and collect the order on a particular date (so that I can present it to my niece) and I never received it as promised. Had to go three time to the branch to chase my order and after too many calls they realized there was a glitch in their payment system and hence the item was never delivered - WTH?? And who pays for all the hassle - no one. It's our fault that we choose to buy it from Curry's. Anyway based on my experience, it's better to go and buy it in the shop rather than ordering anything from this shop online.

Bought laptop on click collect, collected next day,at the store added cloud and norton, offered insurance free for 2 mths refunded 1 mth on purchase,as this would be taken off my next direct debit. payed it, then cancelled so i would not be paying any extra. it tracked on the laptop price less vat,now it has gone to £0 payable refused, funny that!. my gripe is that i only ordered laptop on c&c so i should get my cashback. if this is not the case! warning! keep any extra purchase seperate from your c&c order. Have put in missing cashback with this explanation.

VAT is not included so one needs to take care of that. Also I recently encountered problem with the value. while the transaction has been tracked, the amount is wrong. I immediately raised a claim however not yet resolved. The original order amount has been confirmed. not sure if i will get it... so be prepared. Until this point it was actually pity good.

Tracked at lower than expected rate then went to zero. I used the order and collect from store service. Tracked at lower rate awaiting confirmation of collection. I did collect that item with the correct order number, but never tracked to higher rate being offered, then went to zero. Not too pleased!

Reserved and ordered through cash back, Paid and Collected the goods, The amount tracked and was confirmed by Curry's and then with no reason, when it was due to be paid Curry's declined and the amount became 0. Would ceratainly not be going back to them in a hurry. There are competitors on line who offer better rates than them.

If your cashback doesn't track initially, don't expect to ever receive it - cashback claim eventually declined by Currys after a delay of 8 months, who claimed "The order reference provided has been used in a previous enquiry" which is a nonsense - funnily enough they used this exact same excuse in another missing cashback from Dixons (same company). Thanks TCB for trying to chase it, but Currys just make up lies to avoid paying out.

I was lured by the attractive offer of Currys' cashback promises. But they never paid up, even though everything tracked correctly.
Forget Currys if you actually want to receive your cashback. If my experience is anything to go by, you won't get it.

Did the reserve and collect one @ 1.51% cashback - brought a Blackberry Playbook (which I've very happy with)for £129.00 - the guy told me that I would only get cashback if I brought a case as well, I didn't bother as you can get the same case on Amazon for a third of the price + there is more choice.
My cashback would have been £1.62 - I knew this at the time but is it worth it - I think not.
Personally I won't be checking out these cashback sites - too much time wasting and not a lot of savings for someone like me that doesn't buy a lot of stuff.
Thanks for reading.

Expected cashback for £379 laptop reserved and collected but none received. Checked Topcashback account 3 months later(105 days) and discovered that claims are only accepted within 100 days. Other Topcashback transactions have been trouble free. In future I will assume Curry's will not honour their cashback offer, and I will check my Topcahback account more frequently.

Been waiting since June for my cash back on a purchase of well over £500. They really have no business being on this site if they don't pay cash back.

Having contacted Currys directly regarding my purchase through Topcashback, the company has abnegated all responsibility for honouring its promise. Here's what they said:
"It appears that the cash back offer you refer to is offered on an affiliate site, which means that this is a third party which we have no jurisdiction over. You have mentioned a site called Topcashback which we as a company do not own. I can only urge you to contact them with regard to this matter."
In other words, they are happy to advertise on topcashback and gain business by doing so, but will not pay up any cash owing to you. This not only shows a blatant disregard for the customer, but seems also to be highly suspect on legal grounds.
Don't shop with Currys if you want to get your cash back.

....have just emailed the retailer directly to ask for my cashback. It has now been over a month :-(
If a retailer advertises a discount and gains business by doing so, but then fails to honour that promise, should they not be accused of false advertising?
Not impressed but willing to reserve judgement if the matter is rectified soon.
