Buy parts from Currys Partmaster at your own risk!!!
I purchased a new reaplcement oven fan motor (with fan blade) and the fan blade was faulty as it should have a shaped centre hole to fit onto the same shape on the motor spindle. However the hole is round and cannot fit or work properly.
I contacted Partmaster by email and they replied telling me that they are unable to swap the faulty part!!! I wrote them a letter two months ago reminding them of the obligations under the Sales of Goods Act, and asking for a replacement, however they have decided to ignore me completely (the letter was sent by recorded delivery and was signed for).
Luckily the old blade off the old motor was still in servicable condition (just) and I was able to use this or I would not have a working oven.
To make matters worse it looks like I wont even get the cashback even though I have made an enquiry with Topcashback.
