Purchased car insurance in July 2024, Topcashback opened a claim in September and heard nothing back since then - assume looking at other reviews that I will never receive this casback

Over 6 months and still no cashback
Absolutely annoyed that I used COnfused.com to get car and home insurance, because I still do not have any cashback. I added cashback into the total insurance cost and that is the only reason I went via Confused. Next time will do it direct as it works out cheaper as a whole. Customer service says there is a delay, but why would it take over 6months?

Be Prepared to wait
I got a really good quote via Confused.com but it took more than 7 months to receive the promised cashback into my account and that was only after the intervention of TopCashback's customer service team and numerous messages and nudges.

I feel lied to by Topcashback
I only bought my car insurance through Topcashback via confused.com because of the attraction of the amount of cashback I would receive. So, I bought the car insurance via Topcashback who openly promoted this to me. As soon as I had completed the deal and now three weeks later, £0 pending and no sign of any cashback being tracked. I complained and was basically told to wait for over 6 months to a year to see if the cashback hits my account. This is disgusting treatment and a severely poor customer experience. At this stage, I'd strongly suggest you avoid Topcashback. I am gambling that I won't receive any support from this review. I feel so let down. What should have been a fun and exciting reward, has just left me frustrated and angry. Poor show Topcashback .

Border line scam at this point
These guys are not tracking anything and the support team refuses to even submit claims until 100 days. It could legitimately take you more than a year to see your cashback. And note how all car insurance brokers have been removed from topcashback so you are forced to use these middlemen. Seems like a monopoly at this point.

Twice They've Declined Cashback
I've used Confused.com twice through Top Cashback and twice this merchant has declined the cashback. You can't even lodge a claim against them, which to me proves they will decline cashback without consequence. I won't be using Confused.com again and will use one of the other comparision sites which do pay the cashback

Exclusions when using confused.com
Exclusions from TCB when using confused.com: 1. Cashback will not be paid if you claim a Confused.com Reward. 2. Claiming a Amazon.co.uk Gift Card* and any other offers, discounts or Rewards from Confused.com will invalidate your cashback claim with the exception of our Beat Your Renewal Claim. 3. Telephone purchases are not eligible. 4. Editing or using a previously saved quote from your Confused.com account will not be eligible for cashback. 5. Multiple policies bought in the same browser session will not be tracked or eligible for cashback. Each policy must be purchased in a new session via the TopCashback link on this page. 6. If you, or your insurer, cancel your policy before the 130 day validation period, then you will not be eligible to receive cashback. 7. Use of a promotional/voucher code not posted and approved by TopCashback. Mostly useless.

TopCashback and Confused laying get you Cashback. Hold my cashback 0,00 5mth, them declined. Try make claim, cant' because over 100day.

The 2nd year in a row where I followed the rules and claimed cashback from Confused and they have declined my cashback almost 6 months after the transaction. Don’t trust Confused.com

6 months and still pending uplift.
Purchased follow all of the conditions required and over 6 months on the cashback is still on *pending uplift. Unsure if I will ever see this cash back now.

Been waiting for 4 months , dosent pay out so is a complete con !

Stays "awaiting uplift" for months then declined
I immediately bought a motor policy after being transferred from the Top Cashback page. Stayed in "awaiting uplift" for over 6 months the declined. Very poor

Good comparison site but DON'T rely on the cashback
If you take the confused.com reward you won't get any cashback, but the TCB is not good that you have to wait 90 days, as if it's then rejected, you also lose out on the confused.com reward you could've claimed within the first 90 days!

Tracked correctly and rejected without any reson
What a suprise from topcashback, next retailer delined cashback without any reason after a few months , this is completly joke . My car insurance was tracked correctly and now is delined without any reason , what a joke !!!

Confused.com charlatans
If you are banking on receiving cashback from this lot in your choice of comparison site I have a cautionary tale. In a few months after querying why the transaction has not tracked you will very possibly receive the following, as I did: "Query rejected - Did not meet the terms and conditions set by the merchant". Of course its a load of bull, no such terms were infringed. As for tcb doing anything about it dream on!

Worth the wait
It took about 3 months for this to come through but was worth the wait. Make sure you don't use the additional offers that come with the insurance as this will cancel the cashback option.

Took a very long time to pay out
This took so long to track and then become payable, that I had forgotten how much cashback I was meant to be getting. But I do think I got the right amount in the end !

Worked rather than last time (year)!

Cashback claimed but...
You will receive it but it took a while for it to appear and the waiting game is quite long so just be patient and try to contact help for update or if it's taking longer than shown payable date. Also it mentioned that cashback is £37 but I received £36.75 and they also taken £5 as a member fee, from what I remembered you have the option if yo want to pay for the £5 fee or not, you just get less reward and cashback fee if your not a member. Overall I'm happy that I got cash, better than nothing.
