Don't trust this company: I bought Home Insurance in September 2009 with a promise of £40 cashback. It tracked straight away but is still pending now, 11th January! They are now offering £55 cashback, but don't hold your breath, I think it's just a con to get your custom!

got car insurance on Sunday 10/01/2010 and tracked Monday 11th £55 and given a date of 31/03/2010 so I am hoping it comes through no problems with this merchant

Competitive price- was the cheapest for our contents insurance for good level of cover.

Has tracked with a handy amount of cashback. Whether it becomes payable or not is another thing. If so, would almost take a third off my insurance!

Last posted 2 December to say my payment was pending confirmation. This has now happened (around mid December). Still waiting payment (of course)!

Not good, when other smaller retailers etc. offer payment within a month.

The transaction has just become payable, so be prepared for a long wait, as we took the policy out in July, but did make the premium only £20 for contents for the year so am happy.
Remember to keep on top of the query as £40 is a lot to miss out on.

I've just read some of the recent reviews and comments about CIS. I'm looking to renew my car insurance this Feb coming. I used CIS through topcashback last year and everything went through well. I can't check back now and see how long it all took but it probably was around the 3months+ period stated. I know it tracked really quickly and was paid on the date that was given for payment. I received £65 and was very pleased. I paid the whole amount of the car insurance at the time of accepting the quote by c/c so that may have altered things. I've been with CIS for lots of stuff over the years and find them great. Hope everyone gets their cashback ok and I find they're the cheapest when it comes to renewing in 2010

DO NOT USE THIS RETAILER FOR CASHBACK. I went with these because although they were not the cheapest car insurance quote, with the cashback back it was incredibly cheaper. 6 months on I am still waiting for the £70 back grrrrrrr.

Walk away from this poor acting company, if their insurance claims reflect their ability to pay what they state here then we are all in trouble Payed for this in July policy started in August should have been with me at the latest by the end of Nov but no still no cash back. I will not be returning to do business with the Co-op they are unreliable and do not do what they state they will do. What come back to we have? Is this a legal contract that they have failed on? This is clearly not a new situation looking at the feed back genrally the Co-op need tackling about thier inability to deliver on their word. Walk away go someware else for your insurance I will next time you can count on that. Yours sad & disapointed John P.
