Here we go again. There is no sign of my confirmed cashback turning into payable and we are practically at 31.01.10 which was the revised payable date. I cannot believe these people! How much longer do I wait? How on earth can T Proddy above say he can recommend? Perhaps in a few months that opinion will change.

Purchased car insurance on 03/08/09. The transaction tracked within a couple of days but as the site says payment does take a while. My cashback was finally paid on 14/01/10. Recommended but be prepared to be patient.

Car Insurance taken out on the 14/06/09. Hardly 90 days but the full cashback of £70, confirmed finally on the 28/1/10, becomes payable on the 30/04/10. Woo Hoo! .

First my cashback claim stated due date 31/01/10 then last week it changed to 31/03/10 and now it has changed again to 30/04/10.... I will not be using this company again!!!

I took out a motor policy in July 09 which has tracked OK, but no payment yet available. It was to be 31/01/10, but is now 30/04/10. I have called the number mentioned above - 0161 837 8769, used option 2, and have been able to register a complaint. Let's hope it brings a result!

I finally recd the cashback after 7 months of awaiting. Only went with the policy because it was cheaper by £20 with the cashback against other quotes that I recd. Not sure if it was worth it with all the chasing that I had to do.

I know it takes ages to get the money back after arranging a policy for a relative but that did track ok. However, I bought self one on 16 Jan and no sign of it tracking although its recorded as a visit by TCB. Will cancel if not tracked within next couple of days. Anyone else had delay with tracking.

Car Insurance taken out July 09, tracked really quickly but did not become payable till Jan 10, 3 months after it was due. I didn't bother chasing and was pleased that it paid out at all. My thoughts - reliable cashback trader but don't expect speedy cashback. If you are reliant on the cashback getting back to you quickly this may not be the one for you.

Cant fault the tracking - showed pending within 24 hours. I gather that it could be a looooooong time before it becomes payable even taking into account the terms & conditions. Lets hope not but to receive even eventually is better than not to receive at all.

Well I finally received my cashback from Co-op after 6+ months.. Up until this point I had phoned Co-op and they just fobbed me off, instead giving the name of Mr Brendan Mc Carten (0161) 837 8769 as point of enquiry. This line wasn't answered when I phoned. However, other claimants are more than welcome to give it a try !!

Following recent queries raised in our comments section regarding delays in payments on The Co-operative Home and Motor Insurance programs, we thought we'd better point out the following; In line with The Co-operative Insurance's cashback terms and conditions (which are posted on the cashback page), all sales are subject to a 90 day validation period i.e. we can't start the cashback validation process until at least 90 days from the last day of the month in which the sale was made. This normally takes up to 4 weeks. Naturally, any policies that are cancelled within the first 90 days from point of sale will not receive a cashback payment. In order to receive cashback/reward points from The Co-operative Insurance please make sure you follow a wholly online route and follow all steps outlined within the cashback terms and conditions. We recognise there have previously been some delays with this system, and we're all working hard to implement a smoother and more timely process going forward. Rest assured, if you are entitled to cashback , this will be paid in due course. Thank you for your support. Top CashBack

Last posted on 31 December. There has been movement! My account now shows a payment date of 31.1.10, and no longer has the TCB comment 'we are still waiting for payment from this supplier'. Fingers crossed? Would be 5 months of waiting if this gets paid.

Learned a really valuable lesson here - ALWAYS read COMMENTS & REVIEWS. If I had read what other people said I would NEVER have touched the Co-op with a bargepole. But, I didn't read it and I got stung. £70 NEVER TRACKED. Took out policy in JULY 09. Spoken with Co-op on several occasions - they blame 'Topcashback' (TCB blame Co-op). The only thing that made the Co-op competitive was the £70 cashback - and that didn't happen so it WORKED OUT MORE EXPENSIVE! I don't think it's good enough to say 'cashback isn't guaranteed' - there should be no exception in the laws.

And another month passes - Any new cashback claimants ought to be warned that unless they are prepared to wait 6 months + don't bother with this merchant (as it doesn't offer cashback inside a suitable time to justify being on this site...). I have never made a motoring claim, so if they are expecting me to jump ship or make one to justify not paying, its highly unlikely - this shouldn't be yet another excuse not to pay on time !! To note, they have also recently delayed my father's policy and cashback claim due to him not submitting a valid no claims certificate, despite offering a receipt ?!! Dreadful

Do not expect cashback. I went through the site in February 2009 and finally they have come back and said it's invalid, though it certainly isn't!
